The Vikings In Iceland | Tour To See The Puffins | Herjolfur Ferry Iceland

Today we are in Iceland and visiting West Islands. We hope to see the puffins in their summer grounds where the next generation of puffins will be born and take their first flight. The ride from the mainland to the island will be on an electric ferry. It’s crazy to see a large ship that is totally electric.
We were able to get up close and see the puffins. The tour also included a look at the first known site of a Viking Settlement. The tour operator had a wealth of information that also covered the formation of the island.
It was a great day!
