The Viper Island Situation is really bad (Shameful)

you know it's serious when the video has no editing in it. Like I said the host of the KZbin channel Viper Island is dangerous and scummy at best stealing content and sending out false copyright claims. Please do not go after anyone I mention in the video, I'm just giving out my thought and opinions on the whole situation and how saddened I am seeing this happen out of all places the GI Joe Classified community. As someone who got into the toy line more than a year ago this is just really sad, but I also feel like it's my duty to call out bs like this even if you might feel I have no right to say anything but either way please stay away from Viper Islands channel, it's not worth the risk and headaches. I feel bad for everyone that has been affected and it's hard to really fathom what the hell is going on here, I probably didn't say everything I wanted in the video but I at least wanted to send the message to everyone. So please becareful

Thanks for sharing the story. I'm the host of the 3POA podcast and he got both my Instagram accounts deleted by making false copyright strikes. As of today his KZbin channel has disappeared due to someone called mars.armory copyright claiming his videos for using their toy photography in his Viper Island videos. Karma is a fickle bitch, i guess.

That's insane that his channel just disappeared. Serves him right, I was very pissed when all this went down. I've seen this happen a lot but never to this extent. I hope you'll recover from all this as well as everyone else that has been affected but this douchebag.

You are on point with the matter. VI did take a SDCC interview conducted by ATKM. I saw the original and then saw what VI did to it. He edited them out of their own interview so you couldnt see them or hear them and did his own voice over for the interview questions 😂. He didn’t want to apologize or give them credit. Keep up the toy reviews, I hope you gain more traction.

I was like you, when I started collecting Classified, Daiper Island was one of the first large-scale, high-production channel that I came across. It wasn't long before I realized he wasn't a good content creator. He was a G.I.Joe Classified centric channel that constantly bashed Classified figures. I would understand if he reviewed other toy lines and brands and just didnt like Classified. But he ONLY covers Classified. Then he would post a bunch of click-bait headlines like, "Breaking Classified News!!!" With a photo of a highly anticipated, unreleased or anounced Joe. Only to find that it was nothing more than a change to HIS personal poll. Finally, he would release identical and older content with the segments rearranged. I had had enough. In regards to his children being attacked, NOT ONE person provided proof of those attacks. Additionally, how does attacking his children equate to issuing cooyright strikes against creators? If you have proof of attacks, then post a video with that proof and name-drop the perpetrators and let the community punish them. You don't issue false copyright strikes. Look, at the end of the day, Swiper Island has no trust. Not nearly enough for me to believe him qhen he claims he had been wronged.

He reposted images of STOLEN items w/out crediting the guy who posted them first. To me, it's like Hasbro does a reveal & the first guy to reposts it call everyone else who reposts his post is "stealing" from him. The hypocrisy & dishonesty is amazing from all involved. Viper gained a ton of subscribers by illegally posting Joe movie before he was forced to take it down by Hasbro. Now those who justly or irrationally hate him are(were) driving views to him by endlessly obsessing over him & giving him unlimited publicity. Those who hate him DOXing & threatening his kids are beneath scummy. And claiming Joes are NOT for kids & including his son to encourage kids to be interested in Joes is just myopic. Keep in mind i dislike Liam's personality & his switching from being a Hasbro kiss ass to a Hasbro hater. But I'm noy blinded ny hatred to be so dishonest to besmirch others & jeapardize others' livelihoods. As for abusing copyright claims, it's these guys that started it by egging Wilson to copystrike Toy Guru guy over 1000 times, then now taking down VI's channel. As an unfair consequence, totally innocent guys like Artist Shark are affected by the weaponizing of strikes. Shark never gets into personalities & stays out of drama. He just makes content. But now he's being shut down by "friends" in the community who are secretly jealous of his success & respect he has. And they are using VI as the boogieman to blame. Never mind that since VI's channel is shut down, it's IMPOSSIBLE for him to be striking anyone. And he has no content creator friends. But hey, let's not let facts get in the way of emotional irrational;ity, right?

Again, why are you directing your frustration on this channel and not on the channels you have an issue with? Instead of looking to argue with people who have zero association with either party, why not confront those who do? They will tell you what’s untrue, and you can banter with them about it. Otherwise stop wasting your time using other channels as your soap box. Laserpants literally commented on this video, you could have have easily replied to him with your opinion instead of typing up this essay, where none of these people will bother reading or seeing.
