Dion is right. Back then everything wasn't on the internet so it was understandable for someone to say "I don't need the internet" because it wasn't really useful or a big advantage for much. Now literally almost everything you look at is on the internet and it will be really hard to get by day to day without it. Same thing with AI. No one needs it now and it's not really relevant in a majority of people's lives, but it will be and it will soon become a necessity to have that "advantage" of AI. People who say that AI will be bad for humans also said that the internet will be bad for humans. The internet is not perfect and parts of it are very bad for humans, but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages just like a lot of things. AI will not be perfect and will have bad traits, but a lot of AI will be good.

100% I will say the one thing as an individual human you have to keep in mind is not having to rely on the potential AI system by just piggybacking on it like most humans do with things. You still need to learn how to program and design it yourself to a certain extent if you actually want to be self sufficient/reliable while having the benefits that come with it. Just a skill like any other. More points like that with Trent bringing up guns, yeah look how they have developed over time and that goes for weapons in general as tools, they've advance so much. Cars from around hte 90s or 2000ish until now all have computers in them and they just get more advanced, have to be able to understand them. Science

I understand both sides of the ai debate (bot and software) but all i gotta say is watch avengers age of ultron. What might be programmed or intended to be good can quickly turn into bad on purpose or not. So unless we got the avengers in the universe hidden somewhere then ai has the potential of overpowering humans and controlling us.

Realistically, they will get so advanced they won’t have anyone controlling them, they will figure out how to deactivate a “kill switch”, they will constantly be evolving eventually it will get out of control are my thoughts! We will have to live with it and have to adapt, but on the flip side the surgical precision, and the way accidents would be cleaned up and all that will be a positive thing! A lot to think about

If I had to agree with someone out of you guys it would have to be Dion but barely only because I don’t think AI will be as crazy as Juice is making it out to potentially be. AI will never be smarter than humans as a whole. AI basically just generates answers/ideas/decisions based of human knowledge. For example, ChatGPT is basically a quick access library to all the information that humans put out on the internet, a more advanced personalized google really. The movies and games are crazy exaggerations 😂. And as far as the bots, they might be a thing within companies but when it comes to something like the medical field and having AI surgeons it will never fly because it wouldn’t get past moral and ethical stages due to concerns. Even if surgical bots were approved it would definitely just be optional. Also, the bots “going rogue” is just human coding error which is probably the scariest thing with imperfect humans trying to create something perfect

Idk I think you gotta be on Dion side for this one. When you think about it majority found them from gaming. What is gaming ?? Playing with or against AI. So giving up AI is kinda like giving up their career. And video games have always had glitches, we’ve seen rogue AI all the time from these channels and our own experiences.
