I just got my BE last week, and wow this custom firmware seems to fix the little issues I have with it. Awesome video! Though, I am a little sad that I finally decided to buy one after Bandai cut support for it. A shame, since it is SUCH a cool device.

only got my vital bracelet BE last month, after having the original for a while (that suddenly stopped working and wouldnt register my vital while wearing it), and been having a blast with the dims i already had and with the BE memories it comes with. have only updated to the bandai one, will have to try this when i get on my work computer

I might have to check this out. I think would be cool is if they added a way to have more exercises than the ones they give you. As sure you can fudge by doing similarish motions buy it'd he be neat if you could do Pull Ups and it mixed what Stat boots you got or something along those lines

I just got a BE and I'm liking it so far but I definitely wanna try to update it now. This looks way easier and more fun to use. I was really hoping for a way to add more slots to the characters list as I don't like deleting Digimon or anime characters to make room for new ones, but I can see why that wouldn't be possible right now since that would take a lot more memory space. I'm just indecisive about what characters I want to keep so that's on me, not Bandai. Thanks for the informative video, man!

No problem! If you have a phone with NFC I recommend the app. It'll give you some more room

I've got two Ultimates myself currently and will really enjoy the endless training mode after mod.xD I take it they can't tell via app if it's modded or not other then if you change your characters gender?

Yeah the mod makes training MUCH easier. And yeah I think you're right that they can tell you're modded if you switch avatars

Yes it's still fully compatible with the app but keep in mind if you change your avatar with the mod that may make some problems in the future

If you put Digimon/characters in backup, the timer freezes on it. Use the default avatar character when you're NOT using the VBBE. Only pull a monster out when you wanna train it.

The BE has colored sprites. The old school sprites come from the 25th anniversary DiM card

If you have the money I'd recommend the BE since it's backwards compatible and it also has new dim that are exclusive to the BE. You could also wait a bit and see if it comes out in US

@@Xanaxdu i can't get in i only have one dim card so i can't get past the insert dim screen so i can't reset my dim if i wanted to also it doesn't work for me i follow the instructions and it just keeps going to the set date screen

Try to follow the guide you should be able to get to the debug menu even if you only have one dim card

Personally i always hate when a company makes digital watches/games with 12h format by default or gods forbid don't even support 24h format. 12h is just inefficient as it needs additional characters to indicate am-pm as in extra screen real estate that is premium on a small v-pet game. 12h time in general is a clunky unspecific mess hence why the military etc don't use it.

Ahh yeah the app itself is annoyingly still not available for some. If you're on android i'd recommend qooapp or getting the apk
