The VNC Tower Raid SUCKS

Couldn’t agree more honestly. I was so disappointed when I was able to complete a tower raid, first try, with no boosters or even using any weapons while the drop unlocks. Techland seems really lost right now and their same old reply of “it’s coming, we’re cooking” is getting more annoying by the day. Other than tower raid I haven’t touched DL2 since last year which is crazy considering I have 450 hours in game.

Trust me, when they say they're cooking, they are. This beta doesn't present all the work they have done. I know it's annoying but there's enough evidence to tell that Tower Raid is very close to being what they promised. By the way, how's elite mode? In my opinion, it was a lazy way to implement difficulty, it should've had more special infected + a pre determined load out.

I couldn’t agree more with the story craving. Loot and valuables are always good but following a storyline and having something new to understand always grabs my attention which is why I loved bloody ties so much but it looks like they’re just gonna throw good loot at us until the DLC 😕

The lore doesn't even make sense, you climb this tower in the story, there's no secret stashes or rooms...so nothing is stopping aiden from just parkouring up here for the drop

@@fimurr exactly, techland has got to work on their writing because what I’ve been seeing the past 2 years bloody ties excluded has been kinda lazy

@@SolanersRevengee bloody ties had a good story kinda but the gameplay was just an excuse for EVEN MORE BOUNTIES, im tired of every update in this game just being another reason to include bounties to boost the playtime, dl1 had like 2 ways to get bounties and that was it, everything else was done by exploring the world for loot, something dl2 doesn't know how to do, the only bounty agent in the game I can respect was the huntress but she can still use alot of work, everything else is dumb, even when it comes to buying dlc bundles, the ones in dl2 are over priced, dl1 gave us a really cool bundle for a good price everytime, dl2 doesn't even though they focus more on it, guns were so hyped up and were techlands biggest chance to redeem themselves, what did they do? Give us another bounty agent......instead of like...idk, FINDING ARMORIES AROUND THE MAP....whoever they're hiring for this either sucks at ideas or is purposely told to write mediocre stuff for playtime reasons...

I like it but i don't have op weapons or 1000 uv lamps so its a little harder for me also after completing it over 4 times its getting boring and bland

You're acting like all hope is lost. But it's really not, just tell them that in the survey that they want people to enter in. They say it's for Tower Raid but this survey also includes questions about the whole game in general.

Main complaints: -loot you get needs a huge buff, 1 weapon isnt enough for how long this takes to beat, all weapons need to be guaranteed exotic or highest rarity, maybe some guns even, like security guard guns or something, the guns are already horribly implemented since you gotta do bounties, so this would make up for it if you could get good guns from it. -needs to have a singleplayer mode because this game isnt gonna fix its buggy co op so its unfair to expect us to play online, so add a singeplayer version of this mission where the difficultly gets adjusted ONLY when in single player. -need more ammo of all types, this is literally marketed as best dark zone, "dark zone of all dark zones" or something like that. -takes too long to beat, i want it to be more like prison heist, straight to the point, quick, balanced, the resources you spend arent worth the rewards in dl2. Ngl whoever they're hiring for ideas kinda sucks, this doesn't even make sense lore wise, the prison heist gave you a reason to fight your way to the armory, this doesn't, you literally climb this tower in the story, theres nothing stopping aiden from just parkouring in here. No secret room, no secret stashes, they had a big opportunity with the gre armories to create some crazy lore but just gave us bounties, I love this game but they could be less lazy

If you grab the supply drop, you can go to the back left behind the building, come back to the supply drop, and the loot will be there again. You can loot the weapon and resource pack infinitely.

I used mines and electric mines around the hole roof top lots of uv lamps no weapon.

I can craft a stack of UV bars and spam those while defending the drop while on a maxed out regen booster. No weapons necessary. Everything dies to the UV light.

Game doesn’t drop dlc then they suck, games drop dlc then they still suck. This is so much more content than any other games. Why complain? Just don’t play it. Go play something else

Even the guns were a bust. I play a little here or there but the newness is gone. It's the same old song and dance.

This seems like a bit of a bad take. Tower Raid sucks because it's not the type of content that you're into? I get that people have preferences and that's great but just because you don't prefer that type of content doesn't mean it's bad. By the way, I think Tower Raid beta is in a bad place and has lots of room for improvements. Not saying it is very good.
