" Since he is living in a foreign land this song makes even more sense. This feeling of longing his parents and a lovely melody from morin khuur makes even more beautiful.

I've attended hundreds of concerts but have only been to one where, when the songs ended, no one spoke, and there was silence for several seconds after the last note. Mother and father is 100% THAT special goosebumps sound of silence. Audience is completely captivated and hanging on every note, wanting it to never quite end because it's so beautiful and emotive.

Subbotin was Fantastic! Shame on those judges for not turning around. I didn't understand a single word. But you could clearly hear the emotion and passion. It was palpable.

This song is based on ancient slavic tunes, and is dedicated to the rise of the Sun, which is waking up all nature and lighten all around against darkness. That strings is old authentic Russian instrument named gusli (spelling like gooselee).

The man singing at minute mark 9:33 is displaying polyphonic or overtone singing. It's where the person can sing 2 or more notes at once, essentially they're harmonizing with themselves.

The audition at 9:43 is so funny because the judges/coaches were amazed by him initially for playing the instrument and singing but once he started throat singing, they must have known there isn't a damn thing they can coach that man on about music. It was very tranquil

How could I not have seen Poland's Michal Matuszewski before? Wspaniały! And Bukhu Ganburged's morin khuur and polyphonic notes are pure inspiration from Mongolia to the world, with further inspiration coming from JP Cooper's 2017 song, "In the Silence," as performed by Senior singer Frits Tilburgs, who sings it like a boss. Particularly moving, in this collection, are Ukraine's Indira Edilbaeva, Israel's Sama Shoufani, and Korea's Jung Yujin. And while I certainly enjoyed every performance, Mark Furze's "Blow" is my own fave. 🤘🔥 Many, many thanks, Quichotte, for this No. 18!

He chose Guy as his coach which later turned out to be a bad choice, unfortunately, Guy later paired him with Johnny Manuel and as Delta pointed out, it was not a fair pairing. The outcome was extremely disappointing.
