I don't know if my eyes are wet because of her great voice, those beautiful words, or the emotions it brought out of the judges. Apparently I'm 2 years behind. I've just recently subscribed, and I am glad I did. Thank you for your work and thank you for opening a whole new world to me. I have just one question now, though it may be redundant, why does it seem that the Ukrainian contestants..... the passion, the heart, the soul,.....is astounding. Being from the U.S. we have some awesome talent here, and some are quite good, but I feel that most of them pale in the emotion that they evoke. Again, thank you for you awesome work.❤💯

Thank you :) Of course, I have no real answer to this question. But from my perspective as a german, it has something to do with the ethnic influences in their music culture, wich bring out the emotion better. And talking especially about The Voice, the US version overall feels very clinical and streamlined to me, although the talent level is really high.

Honestly the Russian one at 35:18 just made me mad. WTH were those judges waiting for and thinking?! That a better singer would come along so let's wait and see? The singer was incredible in voice, emotion and his arrangement of the song. I have heard so many version so "Wicked Game" and listen to the song all the time... it was well, well, well, into his version before I realised what it was. Brilliant.

I think you mean the Orthodox Catholic priest, Oleksandr Klymenko, who auditioned with "Materynsʹka lyubov" for Ukraine in 2017. I must agree with you that his performance was absolutely stunning.
