I've met Paul at TFCon 3 times. This is exactly the person that he is. Super gracious and easy to talk to. When you pay to meet him and get his autograph, he will talk with you as long as you want to. He's very active in voicing characters for video games as well. Most people know that he is the voice of Colonel Campbell from the Metal Gear Solid series.

I always liked the Jazz/Preceptor pairing in "God Gambit," kind of like the Cybertron of the cool kid hanging with the nerdy kid... and they just click.

It actually happens a lot in fiction with teams to make the characters more interesting - buddy up characters that don't have a lot to do with each other and it is is often quite fun. There was a great interaction between Bumblebee and Tracks in one of the final episodes where they marvelously throw shade at each other

Got to meet Mr. Eiding at BotCon in Ft. Wayne this year. He signed my SS86 Perceptor, and then we ended up having a 20 min. conversation about baseball due to me being the last one in line and he had time to kill. Such a cool guy.

Perceptor is the most memorable to me. He was used sparingly in the cartoon, and perfectly in the movie. He was needed to move exposition along and it was done with such realism.

I think that Hollywood needs to cast more professional voice actors and fewer celebrities in feature films, but I have to admit the voice cast of Transformers One was pretty damn good, and they really put a lot of effort into conveying the characters.

I've always wanted to know how Paul Eiding came up with the Perceptor voice. This might be my favourite Transformers interview because of it.
