The Voice of Righteousness

In Matthew 12:34, Jesus asked the question, "How can you being evil, speak good things?" In John 15:7, He also said that if you abide in Him and His words abide in you, you'd ask what you will, and it would be done. The key is abiding in Him and speaking in line with His words. Romans 10:10 mentions believing and speaking. That verse also mentions righteousness. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Proverbs 18:21 says that death and life are in the power of the tongue, but James 3:8 says that no man (without God) can tame the tongue. Our words become powerful when we live for God and speak according to His Word. Let this message by Tony McCanless encourage you to speak boldly with the voice of righteousness in Jesus Christ.
