+Jeaneane Gil I mostly agree. She is just all a bit too common in the Phillipines. Like many singers there they are all quite beige and similar to each other...just no charisma really. They don't produce any distinctive worldclass singers whatsoever that people remember and that become legends, because like you said their style is all very general as well as who they cover.

hillcountrydigger The point is Marco's ignorance or selectiveness. The Voice Philippines judges constantly turn impetuously for no reason for many mediocre singers, (that happens to a much less extend in the USA Voice), yet Marco jumps to claims of "in The Voice USA all of the judges would have turned... that just shows how The Voice in the Philippines has MUCH more amazing singers." But none of those that he apparently thinks are "MUCH more amazing singers on The Voice Philippines" actually have the qualities needed to be something bigger, like worldclass. The reason I think that most of the judges hesitated to turn for this singer is probably because that song has been too often covered by many filipinos and all in pretty much similar unoriginal fashions that people just get bored of hearing it and the way she sung it wasn't anything original either, so not a good way to start, nor does her voice seem to have much emotional depth either... Arnell Pineda hasn't auditioned for the Voice Philippines so I don't know why you've brought him into this topic.
