There have been many great contestants on the voice UK, but Leah is always the person I keep coming back to for more. I love how she has so much power and passion in every note and still manages to control her pitch so accurately. You can usually tell on these talent shows when the judges are faking their emotions (mouth open wide, fake tears etc) but you can see that Jessie is well and truly taken aback by the sheer skill and originality of Leah's performance...brilliant! Just as an aside, sorry this post got so wordy...I have a habit of rambling on! Have a great day everyone!

There were a lot of great people on X Factor like Carly Rose Sonenclar, who was a huge promise, but now no one's heard about her. I'm not one to go for covers that change a song that I really like, but this, this is so different and original, that I was completely blown away. I was actually disappointed that it wasn't the song I expected, until I realised that it actually was...only so different that it took me a while to relise that it really was the same song. It's a shame so many people are so closed minded about this rendition of the song, nobody else did anything to compare to it.

While she isn't the first person to slow it down (this is actually Chantay Savage rendition of the song), She took it to another level with the whistle notes at the end!!! This isn't Chantay Savage's rendition of the song. Chantay turned it into a full on slow ballad. This one is mid-tempo and more of a funky version. Just because it's slowed down doesn't mean it's her version.

I've watched every series of the voice, not religiously, but I have seen most of the episodes. I've seen a lot of singers but I have never seen another singer come close to Leah's vocals, style or attitude. She really did have it all, sadly I think the finals of the 2013 competition weren't based on vocal performance, but on personal circumstance instead. Out of all the performers I've seen over the years, Leah's the one I remember.
