He is not the only one. I am going to rant a bit. This has been stuck in my mind and I need to post. After watching both of his supercuts, I dreamt I was in the old base, and the Ariral vent event happened. I tossed shrimp at them and then petted their head when they stopped to eat. This was a very cute moment as their face lit up adorably. I thought it was over when an achievement prompt popped up in the corner of my vision, “Ariral befriended, Multiplayer unlocked.” Now one person played Dr. Kel, and the other a smaller Ariral. The Ariral could help Kel with his work, but they also got rewarded for trolling the player. The second player had their own store of items and pranks they could buy, like ragdoll bananas and whoopee cushions, to tech that the player couldn't get like floating lights(like the glowsticks). One was several new forms for kerfus, I can't remember them all, but one was a mixture of the roomba and kerfus, turning him into a six wheel cart that you sent out to gather mushrooms, berries, scrap and garbage. The dream ended with Dr. Kel(me), and the Ariral sitting on the couch, near the power breaker watching old vs tapes on the tv, only for the Ariral to freeze and stare towards the big window. I turn my head and see this wall of eyes blotting out the window. An arm like appendage was crawling through the garage door and toward us. Dream end. Now alot of that dream did not come true, but the patch notes mension a Ariral Rep system so I got something at least.

honestly? this is a gameplay loop i can get behind. the immersiveness of all the little jobs you do combined with the goofy jank of doing them with source-engine-style physics object manipulation is... really, bizarrely charming. i can zone out sweeping trash around into neat little piles and nudging furniture into pleasing arrangements for HOURS. and in between chores, you go check on your signals and servers, throw a pack of shrimp or two in the microwave, and try desperately to not experience The Horrors. it's just lovely. it's a great, great set of ideas, bundled together with clear passion and love and joy for the finished product.

From what i've heard, the funny setting *disables* all "funny" things in-game, such as kerfus and the plushies due to people complaining that they ruined the serious horror factor of the game (which they didn't), and the dev made the setting to make people stop complaining about it, i am glad you enabled it at the beginning, otherwise you would definitely complain about a lot of things being changed

Honestly, the funny stuff feels as core to the identity of the game as the horror does. And every good horror creator knows you need spaces of levity between the scary stuff, the switch in tone can make it hit all the harder!

​@@Tekh09 This is genuinely how many horror games work, by adding unserious or calm sections in between all the horror, it makes the player feel at ease, so when the game then finally drops em off back to the horror they WILL feel the dread of like, being alone with the dangers again, and then if you prolong that feeling of there being a danger but nothing happening for long enough the player might think that maybe they're safe again and then when the game finally does something the impact will feel much stronger since the player was falsely feeling safe thinking it was part of the more calm section of the game though ofc VotV does have the silly a little too much but I don't mind it, it's not my game after all and I'm still looking forward to what the dev is planning on doing nonetheless

There’s something living inside the cave in the woods. It’s very shy, however, so you’ll have to lure it out with food. Hint: it likes the color orange. 4. There’s a ton of ways to break a mannequin, there’s even a wood chipper you can chuck em into. But they absolutely *hate* being set on fire. Do so at your own risk. 5. At Stonehenge, there lies a skull. It yearns to be with its six brothers hidden around the map. Find and reunite them at Stonehenge, and they’ll preform a magic trick for you.

Hey! At the frequency screen, if you hold E on one of the knobs, you can look at the screen and keep scrolling! That way you can see the values you're adjusting without needing to stand back!

Some tips: 1. Garbage rolls are in the store, I'd recommend using those instead so you don't have to pull individual bags out of your inventory one at a time. 2.
