heyyyy, not sure if u read these but i really need help rn. so i play for madfrog(a club) and is a setter on there second team. last year i didnt set but i have before so i got the position on the day of try outs. lately i have been struggling on talking and being vocal. tonight my coach said that i need to start being more vocal and get out of my comfort zone except i cant seem to do that. i need help with what to talk about and to ‘commentate the game’ as my coach likes to say. and if i dont achieve this goal, i will not play. i really want to play and madfrog is very expensive, so maybe if u could to a video about tip on what to say and how to step out of ur comfort zone for volleyball. im also giving u a follow for any updates!!! this would really help alot. thank u 🙏

Ik I’m not coco but as a part setter and right side I want to try to help. I would first work on being comfortable with your team. If you are comfortable with your team you’re not afraid to be yourself. That’s what I found best when setting this year. For what to talk about, call if you have the ball or don’t. If you are able to get the ball yell “mine” or “I got it”. If you aren’t able to get the ball, yell “help” very loudly so your teammates can hear you. I know it will be hard to be loud but the only way you can start to be loud is if you just try it once. Once you do it you’ll get more and more comfortable with doing it. As a setter too, you need to call where the ball is going. If the ball on the other side is being set to a position, yell that position. If the ball is being tipped, yell short and if it’s deep yell deep. I hope this helped you. I know you’ll be able to be loud and I hope u get the playing time you deserve
