went to the bronx early in the season, bought a volpe jersey outside of the stadium. he put the yankees ahead with a 2 run homer in the 8th inning. dj walked it off in the 9th. will never forget it. this kid is younger than me by a month! wtf😂

Family friend here - I started tracking Anthony 11 years ago, when he was playing catch with posada’s son in Central Park. At his 12u team USA in Japan he was the MVP at 2B. I’m close to his family. I can tell you this. You already know, but for this fans that read this, Anthony’s best attribute is not his glove, his speed, his power or baseball IQ. No! Anthony’s best attribute is his character! As a lifelong Yankee fan I want to thank the Yankees management for seeing this too. He’s a winner! Let’s go AV!
