Yea. A wet video will probably never happen. California and it’s SMOG laws cause me to just say screw it. So we sold everything off and I’m leaving the state. Screw California.

Why are you guys using rounded, smooth river rock instead of angular crushed rock for concrete? You guys should know that the concrete paste bonds better to angular crushed aggregate vs rounded stones and produces higher flexural and compressive strength i.e. higher quality concrete.

The rock we are using with a 5 sack mix is averaging around 3700 PSI. If we need to go over 5000 PSI then we can use crushed and washed rock. But that increase in cost is passed to the customer. But most jobs don’t require that high of a compression. Also crushed is harder to pump. It will puzzle lock in hoses more. Pumpers hate it because they need to use 4” hose for that VS 3.5”.
