Wow! Your command of the English language is amazing! You sound as if you grew up somewhere in the midwest.

Thanks! Maybe I will do a video one day to explain why I have the accent that I have 👍 //Backman

Agreed! I enjoy linguistics as hobby, and you have a similar accent, although milder, to people in my area (Ohio) who grew up speaking English and Dutch. It's really good!

Also, I just want to say, I just started binge watching this channel recently. Keep it up. Your channel has the quality, it's just a matter of time until subs start going up!

@@zero-twentysix Thanks! I'm not In a hurry to see big growth although it is fun to see the views and subs go up quick with this series :) I Am taking full advantage of my noob-year to experiment on the platform and to see what works , and what doesn't. I think I'm getting closer and closer to finding something that will work for me and my viewers and that will also be sustainable in the long run :) The goal i guess is to be able to have like a "diary" too look back at. But you gotta have goals, and this time the new goal is 10k subs until August 2021. Thanks again for your support, it's very appreciated :) //Backman

Is your sign off "Arigats, Hai," ? If so, when you spent time in Japan, did you have lots of Aussies for friends? I also have been nerding out on Volvo wiring harnesses. In the midst of a second restoration 240 car. Great channel, man! ボルボ・カーズのウワイウリングと言うことが上手だね♂️

Haha, thanks for sticking around. Hopefully Iam getting better 😄 Still using my tryout year to its fullest. Still figuring things out, what works, and what doesn't. For example, I know for a fact that if i did a lot more washing videos and polishing tutorials i would get a whole lot more views. But then I will probably get stuck making that content. And that's not really what I want to do. So there is always a balance there 😄 //Backman

Pro tip: Flip video from head-GoPro 180 degrees. Then we'll see it as you do.

Yeah, i had some issues with the gopro to say the least 😄. Not used to having it on my head and was not aware that it flipped around like that 😄 I'll make sure to lock that feature in the future 👍//Backman

Nice Job! I found your channel today and started watching this series. I became interested in the 5 cylinder engine and wanted to see the process you're going thru. I myself have a Ford Merkur and a lot of people swapped the B234 head on to the 2.3 block with reasonably good results. But, I wanted alternatives, so I'm watching your progress, very informative. If you have not put the engine in yet, could I suggest you get rid of the PVC set up under the intake and simplify it. Mount an aftermarket oil catch can remotely. That coolant line you may be able to route it back to the head and bypass that crazy set up. I highly doubt that the pipes will condense and freeze. In the original tear down, your crankcase ports were plugged, so it's an issue that needs to be addressed, while the engine is still out. Just my thoughts. I've done a couple of catch cans and happy with my results. Just subbed! I thought I had missed a portion.

Thanks man! Glad that you like the content :) About the engine, setup and so on. As a project moves along things change. And the PCV system is just one of those things. And i believe you are right and I will probably build some other type of system on there just to fit the RWD setup better and also perform better. I just need to clarify if you can do any mods to the PCV system before getting the car registered with the engine, it might need to be original. But I will dig deeper into that soon. Not going to do many performance mods to this engine. There will be e full 500Hp build later on in this series, not 100% sure if i want to go 5 cyl volvo or something else, but there will be a proper engine build coming up, right now I just want to keep it simple :) Appreciate the comment, like the fords. Used to have a -90 Mustang 5.0 with a supercharger :) //Backman

Bad habits 😄 All the gloves dissapeared during the pandemic, and i have just not gotten to buying new ones yet. Yeah, love making videos but sometimes it can spoil a little bit of the fun. /Backman
