How long before we need to legislate against in car tech? Watch how long Sniffs eyes are away from the road whilst he just tries to turn the temp up 1 deg! A fixed "knob" can be access haptically with muscle memory, meaning it can be done by touch alone!

Its got voice control lads! Just say "temperature 20" and that is what it sets to. You can also say "I'm cold" and it will increase temp by 1C

Huw Williams or you can tap the number you want on the screen rather than keep tapping +/- or you can drag the slider up and down. There are many easy ways to change the temperature quickly.

I know I'm a bit late to the party with this vid but the design of the rear doors is absolutely tragic especially considering its sweedish, my mum got one and my stepdad has an xc90(the powerful hybrid one, which is great and I love it) but anyways the doors... The sills are wiiiiiiide like way too wide and I can't get in and out if we park anywhere near anything, I am 17 and 6 foot tall but for an suv I personally believe it is unacceptable. That's my thoughts anyway. Love your stuff lads, especially the podcast. Edit: I do love lots of the other design, like the bin, and the hook in the glove box which weirdly exites me

My Mrs has one on order, but thankfully chose a manual. Did Richard once drive up to Elgin (Scotland) in a black Z3 or Z4? Would have been around 10 or 12 years ago now. It's been bugging me for yeeeeeaaars!

The other weird thing about the XC40 is that not all colours are available in all "flavours". You can only get a red one in the cheaper Momentum range, but that means you can't have wood on the inside, because that's only available on the higher trims. It's very peculiar.

I know! I want either the R-Design Pro in red or pine grey but neither colours are available in that trim it's so unusual. Why not allow us to pick any of the colours available and just reserve a couple of premium colours for the top of the range car.

Heated front seats is standard in the XC40 on the swedish market. You cant sell a car up here without heated seats... 😀 Greetings from Sweden.

When did the 40 range of Volvo's become high end, not so long ago the Volvo S40 and V40 were equivalent to the Mondeo or Vectra now any Volvo is Audi BMW class. Enjoying videos though, good work Jonny and Richard

I do agree with your point about it being a duty to be as unselfish as possible (especially on the roads). Doesn't that mean that if you begin to do a three-point turn and you have to do it "emergency-style", then you were being selfish to begin with, and just doing the turn when you knew that you probably shouldn't have done it? Slightly counter-argumentative, I'd say. People have definitely become far too self-centred and thinking that they are the only ones who matter on the road.
