It's time to pass on the fun... plus I need the money for a new daily. :-) I'm asking $25k OBO. With a few mods this thing would be perfect for rallycrosses. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time or the money to do it. It is perfect for anything off road as is! If you're interested in it and can give it a good home hit me up on IG or facebook Osborn9801 or just John Osborn on FB.

Thanks I think. 😆. Much safer to pass under power, as opposed to under braking entering a corner. I sure love the game of picking a line through traffic. 👍

Man was that restart something to watch. Got to be a great feeling passing the slower cars like that. Mixing it up with that ultra light must have been fun too. So much cornering speed those cars have.

Was spotting for #28 HQ Autosport 128 in GP2, saw that incident happen, looked pretty gnarly. Not only vortex of danger, but shows importance of spotters for lower class cars at high incident corners.

Randy. Last night I was watching an old VHS I have from the 1991 Runofffs in Atlanta. I was wrenching for a sports racing team that year. We kinda sucked lol. You were in Showroom Stock C in a Honda. I think you came in 2nd in a great battle to the end. I thought I remembered you from the old days of SCCA. You have been at this a fair amount of years! Great to see you still hammering down.

Woulda shoulda won, too, Steve. Dang Miata in 9th place kept jumping the start, causeing three wave-offs. My tires were gonna last, and I knew my opponent's were not likely to. Until the three wave offs. Rats. Wished they'd just gone green and black flagged the troublemaker.

Oh man. When the first car got taken out I was upset for you not even getting the chance to drive. Great to to see you have the chance with the second car and your driving stint was awesome. I hate playing that track in a video game as I often wind up doing the same as that (what was it, a BMW?) car did in front of you; I don't brake early enough and wind up off the pavement. And then you were denied the finish yet again through another incident that a different drive had. Darn it!

@randypobstofficial

Not from racing. Well, okay a little stiff after banging the wall hard a couple times. I race so much that it IS my neck workout. Skinny but strrrrong ET neck 💪 Best thing I've done is a lot of ab work, crunches and the like. Very important in racing to have a strong core.

@@randypobstofficial thanks for getting back to me. My experience is limited. I have a 2019 ZO6 M7, and I have noticed what you have described as the rear end doing the “wiggle” going over certain dips or uneven corners. I suppose it’s the transverse leaf spring. At 68, I have 55 years of driving experience, but not in cars capable of driving to extremes. I would love to try a Porsche someday. I do local Autocross and do local tracks. I hope to do COTA again. Hope to meet you someday.
