Thanks for your comments Richard. She certainly is a great little boat and I am glad you liked the video. I am still very much an amateur but I am learning and trying to improve with each one. Cheers

You're a brave man to sail Bass Straight alone! The weather can change so quick and the seas can turn real nasty real fast! Congrats on making it to Eden! It's s pitty you didn't stop at Refuge cove in Wilson Prom on your way. It's a beautiful spot to anchor, 20ft of water and it feels like you're floating on air, the water is so clear! Good luck for the remainder of your trip 😊

Not too brave, Pete. Just had to do it to get the boat home.

Hi Greg, nice video from near my home port, Paynesville, the sail was slow as it can be, but great video work, and nice commentary

What a stout little ship. Can see why it was worth travelling south to get it. Great adventure to bring her home. Did you kit her out for the voyage or come with life-raft, hydrovane etc?

Thanks for you comments John. Yes she is a great little ship and was worth the trip to Victoria to get here. One of the reasons I bought her was because she came with the hydrovane and life-raft and a lot of other gear.

Bonus (albeit paid for) to have that all in place. Safe trip. Did you say you're headed for Hervey Bay?

@@johnmclachlan1023 Eventually. The plan is to keep the boat in Brisbane for a while first.

Cachalot, that's French for sperm whale... Beautiful little boat..small is beautiful, I always feel sorry for people who sink fortunes into large yachts, all you do is stress and freak out...

Yes it is. Great name. Love small boats. I agree, big boats big money. Thanks for commenting.
