I LOVE running this gun. The subsonic ammo and integral suppressor makes it where you don’t have to mod a lot of the gun to make it viable, which makes it super cheap. It’s like an MP5 with a suppressor and AP 6.3.

as someone who has been on this for years, you two must be new. not a bad thing, but it means you lack sufficient map knowledge and awareness, understanding of audio cues, confident ability of weapon handling, assessing matchups and general engagement approaches in tarkov (some or all of these). best way to get better at this.. run at players and fight... and lose. but youll have to learn eventually

There's an actual rangefinder integrated in PSO scope on the bottom part of scope reticle. Numbers 1-4 are for 100-400 meters. The size of vertical line is the height of 1,7 m man standing. When you adjust yourself to these things, vss will become super effective gun - I can do 200 m shots. Personally - I love it.

@@KamikaziSpud wow what an amazing and intelligent rebuttal thank you. I couldn't disagree more. Fortnite's underlying theme is kill or be killed, loot and destroy at all costs, last man standing. Sure the violence is cartoon, but the ideology is very adult. It's PUBG for kids. You can't teach mercy when the only objective is sole survivor. Tarkov is a military strategy game. It teaches tactic, team work, communication, discipline. Honor is what our clan teaches them. Showing mercy and taking the high road if the opportunity exists. Is there looting? Certainly, but at least it's tied to an economic return and necessity. I teach my boys gun safety, muzzle discipline both in game and in real life at the range. Both of them are extremely respectful and highly trained. You're welcome society.

Why does the game do that?? I removed “quick reload” because of the game dropping the mag but even tho I removed quick reload to some random keybind on my keyboard he still drops it every once in awhile. Do you know why? Maybe a bug?

​@@chrislobo7945 If there is no empty slot in your rig when you reload, the mag will not have anywhere to go in your rig and your character will automatically do a "fast-reload", making you drop the mag. As far as i understood.

I miss old Tarkov and the easy recoil. It made newer players who might not have the bets ammo a better fighting chance against chads. Now, I feel I need almost a meta builds to compete with chads because it’s so hard to get good ammo as a “casual” player

I wanna ask a genuine question, why do people keep the pot helm?, Ive seen countless streamers and youtubers keep it in their bags when they could've easily just dropped it for more loot, it never sells for much and it takes up too much space for what it gives, Id personally never pick it up unless either I don't have a helmet or my helmet is damaged, I wanna see peoples opinion on this. Example 8:40 dropping the helm for the mp5

Similar price but the gun takes more space or just because it's not worth the inventory management. The helmet also has more use cases post raid as its a good budget helmet with high ricochet chance.

Yeah, I've liked the AS Val/VSS family since using it in weapons mods for Rogue Spear, if not Rainbow Six 1 on the PC. Being able to switch it to full-auto makes it fairly decent for close-up work, too.

IRL the Heckler & Koch MP5 SD variant has an integrated suppressor so effective, the sound of the reciprocating bolt drowns-out the report and the clicking is all you hear. It sounds like someone tapping the top of a desk using their fingernail. Sweeeet.

IRL the supersonic “crack” is not useful to pinpoint shooters - the noise is omnidirectional and if anything it makes it harder to hear the muzzle “boom” (of non-suppressed weapons) which is how you can trace back the shooter's position.

Yeah exactly, if you have the drop on a guy at medium range with a basically stock ADAR, with good ammo you have a very good chance of taking him out and taking his loot. With bad ammo you are going to be fucked if it is a semi-geared player.

@@tranglomango Well, the devs want an open world. It's what they wanted from the beginning. I know what you're saying, but, it's ultimately up to the devs whether or not they go through with it. If they do, they certainly are going in a different direction from those other games. Choosing to work on several small bits first, before tying it all together. And, with how open world games are loaded, and how slow the movement in the game is, it should be rather simple to implement it without too much trouble. The problem would come with overloading the servers. But, those can be upgraded.

Anyone with half a brain & working eyes could tell you the FoV/zeroing is fucked just from playing, because the zeroing is defaulted to the original FoV, not the player-set ones. But yes, you keep being pissy because 'reee! someone i follow made a video on it and now more people know!' And No, the zeroing isnt 'fake pointless bullshit' either, but if you spent 5 minutes playing with different FoV settings, instead of crying on youtube comments, you'd know this.

I'm not sure if you know this, but if you hit "L" to examine your weapon and then hit B to swap fire modes mid-examine, it doesn't make the "click" noise.

Yeah I started back in Feb and loot now is crazy, when you said that about guns, it was laughable because those are both like 30k-50k and by level 15 you should be multiple weapon/item cases, probably a stack of M4's from random PMC kills, couple million in spare cash.

AS Val is superior just for the sake of it using your Assault Rifle skill. VSS uses your DMR skill. So depending on which weapons you prefer to use, DMR or Assault Rifle, use the VSS or the AS Val, respectively.

yo if ur gonna use sp-6 u may as well use spp instead its not that much more expensive and way better. I use sp-5 over sp-6 because its like 500 roubles cheaper per round and has higher damage for only 7% less pen. But with 900rpm fire rate, it wont make much difference. check out the stats of all rounds tho and see what u prefer

I’ve seen new players use either really expensive ammo they found and they just don’t know that it’s expensive, and new players that use garbage ammo not knowing it’s garbage. I think that guy most likely found that ADAR off some guy though, along with the mags and ammo.

Dog tags sell for a decent amount, and are also required for a few quests. Also people like to collect them. Your container can be upgraded by finishing a whole shit ton of quests or buying the EoD edition of the game

John Mullen yeah, at peacekeeper lvl 2, you can buy a beta container which is a 2x3, and there a quest that you can complete for prapor that gives you a epsilon container, which is a 2x4. And if you complete all the quests in the game, you get the kappa container, which is 3x4

They also sell a dogtag case to make it easier to store large amounts and save space.

Try using the VAL, not the VSS. It will level your Assault Rifle skill, thus helping your control with other rifles like the AK and M4. Also, it's more modifiable.
