i "experienced" extreme elvis during a show by the san diego hardcore synth band the locust at gilman in berkeley ca back in 2003. at the time i had no idea who this massive sweaty man with the elvis hairdo wearing only a diaper was. at first he was just in the audience heckling the band but ended up on stage exposing himself and later i was baptized in his holy sweat during a brief encounter in the moshpit. he talked a lot of shit and then took one in his diaper before throwing it into the crowd. really fantastic guy 10/10 i feel blessed 🙏

I love Dread Zepelin! I got to see them on Haight St a long time ago, like the 90s. My cousin was an El is impersonator in the Gatlinburg/ Knoxville area, his name was Ronnie Speeks. I was a little kid when he was popular, like the 70s and 80s. Apparently he had a 15 piece orchestra backing hum. I ought to do a bit of research, it looks like he was kind of a big deal. 16:28 OMFG I live Extreme Elvis, saw him with Extra Action Marching Band in Jack London Square years ago, unfortunately he's a violent asshole but he has a beautiful voice. He did Black Sabbath covers that night. 18:37 I think that's the show!

For me, these Elvis copiers are not particularly blatant Elvis fans, but only people who sometimes earn a golden nose with the renewed butchering of his soul, most of whom do not even try to bring in their own or they are a mega cheap copy or some do it relatively well they have certainly practiced for years but they lack the charisma and it seems artificial learned by heart i don't see it as we want the young generation of elvis because the elvis don't do justice at all

You can call Elvis the aphrodisiac of the masses. He knew exactly what he was doing. The resulting tapping into what he meant to people would not have perpetuated if he had not overshot his aim by far, he was so good at it. What he achieved is that he is still supplying money, love, kindness and of course entertainment to those who need it or want it. It is not they who perpetuated him, they/we would have nothing to work with if it weren't for him.
