Amazing filming and good to see all came through it .The special shed you made really became a safe haven from heat and typhoon .To see Yuki is amazing .I'm not too sure it's because of her modern parenting .lol We shall never know So happy all are looking well .Wondering if your little friend will return from South Africa Greetings and thanks for a wonderful episode ♡🖤👏🏻

Hi Helena, thank you again for your comments! It was really great to have Yuki back in the yard, but now Autumn's territorial battles are getting more and more intense. I have to leave home for a week for personal business and I am worried about what their situation will be like when I get home. Hope everyone is doing well. They are wild birds and I feel as if I am worrying about my family😅.

I am so happy that everyone came together nicely, from Chbis to Yuki to Chunko. Nico’s b&b is a wonderful respite for the young. I am glad that everyone made it safely through the typhoon. Now if the heat would abate, that would be nice.

The weather has finally cooled down recently, and the situation in the yard has changed a lot. Most importantly, my video is a month behind, so I want to put together a video of what happened in September as soon as possible. Since I am away from home this week on personal business, it is unlikely that I will be able to upload a video this weekend. 😔 Still, I was happy too to see the whole family together resting in the yard ☺️ Thank you so much for your great support!

It might be somewhat uncomfortable, but I bet If you lie down on the floor with your arm extended, and with treats in your hand, Hojisuki will eat right from the palm of your hand. You should try it!

Hello Dave, I actually tried it to see how he react! I extended my hand and he backed up a little, looked at me and then at my hand, thought for a moment, and then moved back and forth around my hand at great speed. The moment the worm fell out of my hand he was startled and jumped out of the room 😂. He is less flustered when he wanders into a room these days. He approaches me, but he is still afraid to be approached by me😅. Thank you always for your great support!🥰

２週間も姿をくらましておいて、当たり前のように庭で休んでいる雪ちゃんの姿には私もほっとしたと同時に笑ってしまいました😂

こんにちは。まずは雪ちゃんお帰りなさい！　無事で良かったです(^^) ホジ助が老齢なら「おじいちゃんさっきごはん食べたでしょ」と洒落にならない突っ込みをしてしまうところですよね😅触れる距離にハクセキレイはうらやましいです。 台風や豪雨時、いつもの雨でも近所の鳥さんたちはどこいつも気になっています。野鳥たちも馬鹿じゃないと思うので避難先はキープしている思うのですが、さて雨中外出しても、ここ最高の避難先なのに……と思う場所にはいないですし。 そういえばハクセキレイにも集団ねぐらがあるとお聞きして、見てみたいなあ～と思っています。近所ではスズメ、ムクドリが夕方旋回したり木に群れてピーチクパーチクとんでもない数の鈴がしゃべっている光景は日々見るのですが、ハクセキレイはペアor家族らしき単位でしか群れを見たことがないので。（そう言えば鳩のおやすみ事情も未知です）

おじいちゃんさっきごはん・・の下りで壮大に噴いてしまいました🤣🤣🤣 本当に嵐の夜彼らはどんなところで休んでいるんでしょうね。安全な場所は確保しているとは思うのですが気温が低い季節に雨風で体温を奪われたスズメたちが街路樹の下に大量に落ちて逝ってしまわれた光景を見た事があるので、案外厳しい環境下で雨風に晒されてたりするのかも・・と思ってしまいます。 ハクセキレイは基本的に24時間明るい場所に集団ねぐらをつくるので、24時間営業のガススタやコンビニの屋根、交差点の電線などによく集まっています。 小さい群れは何十羽、大きくなると何百羽という群れになりますよ！ ハクセキレイの塒いりの動画ありました☺️ kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZvRgWaZi9iLkLM
