Utterly amazing! Miyuki followed you, like she knew what you were trying to do to help her, all the way to the house to get snacks! I bet you had a smile on your face for the next hour! This is so awesome.

Hi Dave, I am now in a state of euphoria over Miyuki because she is so cute 😆 You told me the other day how to make a perch with sisal rope wrapped around a PVC pipe and I used that as a guide to make a plastic rod with sisal rope wrapped around it and set it up in the shed. The place where I set it up is a place where Miyuki often perches, although it is a position that is not shown on the fixed-point camera.If I can capture her perched there, I will make a video of it! I want to install a perch made of PVC pipe in my yard next month. I need a new perch because the other day I stepped on a perch in my yard and half-destroyed it.😅 Please let me know what size PVC pipe you used for my reference! Thank you so much again for all your support!🥰

@ I think a 1” pipe (I’m not sure how it’s sold in Japan, maybe 25mm?) would be perfect, since the slightly larger size would allow the base to be more secure on windy days). 😁

@@djosbun Thank you Dave, I'll look for that size!🥰
The sanity is Jovio and your dog who is capable of a great job .Worthy of an extra treat .I've always said no matter what I have no wish to come back in the next life as a female mallard. Now I add a female wagtail .I think the male wagtails are behaving in an extremely mean way ...Clicked like and Thanks be the Crows of Berlin treat each other well....Great filming , many thanks to your dog , Jovio and of course you ♡🖤♥︎

Helena, I couldn't help but laugh when I read your comment. I certainly don't want to be born a wagtail female in my next life! 😂 Sometimes I see a couple of crows grooming each other in the neighborhood and I always wish the wagtails were as loving as they are. The only time I see wagtails perched close together is between parent and child. 😅 Thank you for all your comments and I hope you have a great weekend.😊

Thank you 🙏 for the interesting English story of your Wagtails and your dog 🐕🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻Did you raise the Wagtails yourself ? Do you hope to release them back into the wild ?

Thank you for your comment!☺ All of the wagtails in my videos are wild and I did not raise them. They just come to my yard every day and get a few treats. If they are injured such that they cannot survive in the wild, I definitely will try to rescue them as much as I possibly can but I hope they live long and healthy lives in the wild.😊

Gracias siempre por sus comentarios. Pease tener un día maravilloso!🥰
Miyuki is smart to stay with you. Not so smart in being with urusai kun. Nice to see Yuki and Hoji kun. Jovio is very jovial. 😊. Your dog is a good protector even if she doesn’t know it.

I chuckle every time you call the bully male wagtail urusai-kun 😂. I have always thought that you seem to know some Japanese words and I'm wondering if you speak the language? My dog suddenly went blind at the age of 6 and I feel very sorry for her, but just like you said, she is a reliable protector of the birds in my yard from cats, raptors and crows without knowing it. Thank you for mentioning my dog! And thank you so much for all your support!🥰

@ I only know a few words here and there. I tried to teach myself but it was hard. My mom was From Hawaii and the way she used Japanese words was not the way Japanese people do. I called someone warui once and he got offended. To me, it meant mischievous but I learned that in Japan, it means bad - evil. 😬
@Sekisuke3 күн бұрын
@@honusmom5144 I see! that's why you know Japanese words. I thought it was unusual that you often say Japanese adjectives because those who study Japanese often say greetings, etc. in Japanese. In case you are wondering, mischievous is called yancha in Japanese. It has kind of cute connotation.😊

. She so trusting and comfortable close to you. No wagtail befriended you like that before.. I wonder why she likes you this much. Growing up with this habit I can only imagine her getting closer and closer. She's just too cute. Maybe Moresuke will become a decent partner eventually... I mean all the couples basically start out like that 😄 Thanks for these sweet scenes. おつかれたさまです。

You are right, Miyuki is the first wagtails I have ever seen that have become so attached to me. Maybe because she has been in and out of this room since she was little and is so used to me. She comes as close as 20 cm from me and the camera! She is so cute and I am fascinated with her, but that also makes me worry more. I just hope she will survive this first winter in good health and breed next spring☺. Thank you so much for your big support!🥰

Fascinating. Is the other bird a redstart ? 9:53 or a wheatear maybe ...
