You have lost nothing and you have nothing to be ashamed of. I made same consecration in my early teens and got married a virgin and to a virgin at few weeks to my 28th birthday in 2004 ( 20yrs of love, peace, and growth). Making that decision based on our love and understanding of God’s expectation concerning our sexuality have also influenced every other area of our lives ( obedience to God’s word in every area of life).

There is nothing to be ashamed of; once you began, you must resolve to go the whole nine 9yards. It's simply obeying God, not minding whose horse is gored. It's a godly choice as well as a personal yet beneficial choice. Many of us held on to it till marriage too, to God's glory.
