Only thing about the phone call that gets me is not only was it not the first thing she mentioned but she also said it pretty casually. Especially considering Daryl looked for years and is also currently looking for him at the time of the phone call. I have a feeling it's going to be something else or even the possibility it doesn't come up. Even though that would be crazy but TWD has done it to us plenty of times before

I heard a theory that she said that Dwight came back.And I also just read a theory that Ezekiel’s cancer got back and he passed away which is why she sounds upset

Thinking more about it, it could certainly be Ezekiel's cancer came back and he passed. Think about it, Ezekiel was her love interest, and meant a lot to her. Maybe that's why she sounds so depressed, and why she's searching for Daryl, the last person she was truely close to.

Gimple just s aid that the PPP-arc is something that has been laying on a shelf somewhere for a long time and that he would love to still do something with it. Nothing has come out about it being explained soon…

I seriously hope they have it to where Daryl makes it home (with a stowed away mutated France zombie or someone who was bit by one, so they have a new story in the US) and finally sees Rick again. I can just feel the emotion Norman Reedus will put into the scene, it’ll make grown men cry. 2 Brothers, 1 who thought the other was dead and the 2nd Brother, Lost from home… Finding his way back. I can just see the tears in both Daryl’s Eyes and Rick’s Eyes when they finally see each other alive and healthy. Even if it’s the ending of Season 2 or the Entire show (I doubt it’ll end on season 2) I’d be fine with that.

My theory is that we see Rick in the season 2 finale. Probably followed Carol's trail or something. It makes perfect sense. Andrew Lincoln is british, he would be a lot closer to his family.
