Not only were the voices and faces bad but it suffered from an overuse of voices. What made S1E1 of The Walking Dead so impactful was Rick's silence throughout the hospital and outside until he met Morgan. Andrew Lincoln (who played Rick) conveyed all his emotions and thoughts with his face and that told so much. Also the funniest thing to me is when you go to throw a bottle trying to be sneaky and each person fucking screams "THATLL DISTRACT THEM" louder than the fuckin bottle crashing

I always imagine the best type of walking dead game would be an open world rpg survival, like a combo of state of decay, DayZ with in depth survivor and faction storylines. Like I want the choice of living among the horde covered in guts slowly losing my humanity, growing my horde, or join a group and become the leader and turn it into a faction and have faction wars. It's a big undertaking but why it hasn't been done, or something similar after all this time, I have no clue.

They totally could have done it the same for this game. The gameplay too also just looks like a mobile game. Like for instance, if they somehow got the high-end team at Rockstar games, this could have been amazing with fleshed detail. The Dev team, the amount of money, and the pure love by the producers AND developers is what makes a good game. This is why some games have good story but bad gameplay, or the other way 'round

I had to say you’re absolutely right on the show being amazing at the start and for the first several seasons. The grip it had on me was insane. You also said the season that you quit was around season 7 and that makes so much sense. When they killed glen and Abraham I was like well that’s the end of this. It def went downhill after season 7.

What I don’t think I can forgive is them killing the whole reason Rick was even fighting.I must say though once they made it to Alexandria the whole show struggled to stay afloat. I know it was close to the comics but man after they died the show went to hell in a hand basket. Once they were sitting and doing nothing at the compound etc the show completely changed what it was going for and had to have been super hard for the writers to keep people hooked considering where they were located and not being threatened or getting into rough situations like they had done before. I loved the show and still do but man I wish it didn’t go out the way it did.

i agree with you, im willing to fork the money out to just play through it.. sure it isnt perfect, and should be by now with how long it took, but hey, its the first, authentic i play the full game, walking dead game.. i wish they did it more like SOD2, but i have been waiting too long for this game to not play it.. im surprised something like him narrating his every move is getting every "fan" to want to walk away from the game before they even play it for themselves. smh

I want it so badly to be better than it is, but at every turn its worse.. you can only carry 1 gun, 1 bandage, etc.. seemingly all your skill points do absolutely nothing really.. aim is horrible, etc.. etc etc.. it is just not good.. i feel like they should issue an apology for putting out a game this bad tbh.. hahaha. and i went into it knowing it wasnt great and still .. let down

I literally was the biggest TWD fan but I stopped once Rick left the show. I recently rewatched the whole thing and it is really great. Literally finished the final episode today on Netflix. And I come home to see youve played this. I truly love this tv series and I heard the spinoffs were pretty good too. I think everyone collectively disliked FTWD

@@iHoPStA I loved Survival Instinct but even Survival Instinct had decent graphics, cut scenes, and just overall felt like the universe of TWD. This game feels like if TWD Fanfic writers tried making a game with no budget and mediocre storytelling. It's a $50 priced game with unpolished and bare bones combat, skill, graphics, acting, and story telling. Only highlight on this game is the what if idea and even then half of the decisions don't make sense nor did half the events in the game happen in the show even if you are making it follow the TWD story.

They could make such an incredible walking dead game... imagine an open world georgia and big city atlanta... you could start in the hosptial and do all the story points...hershals farm etc...barricade the prison...have the core members fully fleshed out and they could be in your party your base needs supplys and defending etc so need to go on runs....it could be amazing...days gone/RDR2..would be insane...
