Love mine, but it was horribly packaged. Half of a set of parts was in one bag and the other half in another bag, SHODDY instructions, and my tanks did not work until I bent the battery tab out a bit. That hole on the chair is horrid next to the rest of the detail as is the fact the kid has a clip on her foot but does not clip to the floor. The chair should also clip to the floor and him to the chair. Quality control here needs a lot of work. Complaints aside, once together it looks great and is worth the effort.

Eh, I still prefer Lego. This is good, but there's not much you can really do with it. Lego is more customizable, I can edit what I don't like and keep what I do. Speaking of Lego, what's your opinion of Bionicle, Shartimus? Even if it's just pics you've seen what are your thoughts?

Yes, but there's not as much customization available here.

Well, these figures are stuck in their poses. Guy in the chair, girl walking around. All you can do with what you're given is move the chair, move the girl, and rearrange the fish tanks. Whereas with Lego, things can be removed, rearranged, you can MOVE the figures, most of them have double-sided heads with different faces. All of these are factors in a Lego set being good. These WD sets are basically statues you can build. One scene you can only SLIGHTLY edit. If you want that, fine. More power to you, but I feel that Lego is better because of the better customization options.
