I’m curious about how Michonne found the sword and who taught her to use it? I really wanna know about her life before everything happened.

She was a lawyer before the dead stopped being dead. In her college days, she took up fencing as a way to blow off steam, and she was really good at it. Her neighbor was some kind of sword nut, who kept all kinds of swords and blades in his garage. He worked extensively to keep them in mint condition. When things started going to pot, Michonne breaks into his house (he was long gone by then), and took the katana.
