Little known fact: in the comics The Governor’s real name is Brian and Philip was the name of his brother so technically he was lying about his name in the beginning and is finally being honest about his name now.

Live Bait refers to the Governor being live bait to Walkers since he doesn’t have any one Also Live Bait is on a Sign near the end when their running away from Walkers Honestly the title of the episode doesn’t really fit and the original title was going to be called Rise which would have made more sense. Also things to note the episode parallels the first episode of the show Rick is by himself and finds help from some strangers and bonds with a child in that family.

Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍👍 Great catch, yes, Brian Harriet is the name the Guv’na/Philip saw on the side of a barn where someone was telling him (Brian) not to go home, 👍😀 Milton had said, “I thought you had gotten past that” (can not remember the exact wording offhand), when he first saw the Guv’na setting up his ‘little workshop’ for Michonne, so he had some sort of sickness before then, unfortunately it was not made clear if it was before or after the start of the apocalypse, my guess would be after Penny died, which was after it started, 🙂 Have a safe and wonderful rest of your week, 👋😀👋

Exactly, they actually opened their minds to what the episode is trying to do, I've seen this one channel that flats out hates the character throughout and just made up interpretation of what the story is trying to convey, which is a REACH like every move Philip does has a malicious intent behind it Completely closing their minds on the storytelling that's unfolding

Best TWD reactors I've seen, Not like some other reactors I've seen I know you're not supposed to like the Governor but the purpose of this episode is to give him a chance to look at him at a different perspective, unlike his comic book counterpart, the governor is a literal comic book villain But I've watched reactors just flat out disregard the storytelling of this episode to close their mind on the character and just hate him all throughout, not only that is that they make up the dumbest interpretation of the story which is a REACH, completely ignoring what the episode is trying to do

yeah man people have their own personal demons and story to tell and within that story they have some good moments. in this episode we got to see him in a more positive light than previous episodes. unfortunately that doesn't last long xD
