This was a much needed episode after the chaos of the last episode... I love King Ezekiel's sidekick Jerry. The loveable happy jokester to the King's royalty. I just want to get cuddles and eat cobblers together lol... I love this odd friendship that Carol and Morgan has developed. Like they're not friends, but there's definitely an understanding, as if no one can get them but them... Come on, Shamonda You know you love Kang Ezekiel. You saw the way he stood on that porch, a tiger in one hand and a pomegranate in the other, looking like the cover of an old romance novel 🤣... I love how straight up he was with her and we got to see the man behind the facade. We all have a coping mechanisms. He put himself out there, exposed his tire nature and feelings. He cares because it makes him feel good. He didn't say "I don't know" or "I'm trying to be a good king" or any other bullshit. I love shit like that. They way he speaks though makes smile. Like if Abraham was the guy I'd make the best man at my wedding simple because I want him to do the best man speech at the reception, King Ezekiel is the guy I would want to officiate the wedding lol... So what happens next. Will Negan be demanding cobblers in two weeks? Will Daryl finally take a damn shower? Will Rick be blowing snot bubbles for the rest of the season? Comic Comparisons : In the comics King Ezekiel isn’t introduced until a bit later. The conversation between Ezekiel and Carol happens between Ezekiel and Michonne in the comics Carol is long dead at this point in the comics as well as Morgan which makes this path completely unique to the show.

The world sucks a little bit less with Jerry around!!! And Shive. Definitely Shiva. I love animals. I love Shiva. I love Jerry. I love Ezekiel. I love Benjamin. Fffff. I really love Ezekiel's story about how he saved Shiva. It made him one of my favorites immediately. People doing so much for animals always makes me happy.

Hey Ralph and Shamonda!!! 😁 This episode was way toned down from the craziness of the premiere. The introduction of Ezekiel was awesome, (and yes Shamonda, Ezekiel’s theatrical persona was a bit to take in at first...kinda like Eugene lol) but he’s an amazing character. Also, as you could tell at the end, when talking to Carol, it’s a facade he puts on for his community 😉 Jerry is hilarious!🤣🤣🤣 and Shiva is the best pet to have in a zombie apocalypse 🦁 Anyway, thanks for another great reaction! However, instead of militant or robotic...his is just MacBeth/Othello.. in which I love myself. Just wasnt expecting that in the Apocalypse..🤯😬 but hey, he has a tiger too. I love the King, but then again, I love a good Ren Faire. Jerry is wonderful, and I would probably choose The Kingdom as my community. This episode was a much-needed respite from the angst of the first episode, but don't get used to the happy - it won't last.

MARRIED TO FILM DONT READ THIS. NOT SPOILERS, JUST MY OPINION ON SEASON 7 AND 8 AS A WHOLE. This season really wasnt that bad story wise. It was as realistic as it could be with what was given ( I'm talking about Shiva), but season 8 is kind of all over the place and plotholes, and decisions that really didn't make sense.

Jerry has become a fan favorite, also I bet you both will grow to love King Ezekiel and Shiva by the end of this season. Also another hard episode coming your way next. They wanted episode 3 to come after the first episode, but with the brutality of episode 1, they decided to switch them so we could have a much calmer episode then what's to come!

Seasons 7 and 8 are by far the worst, it's a real drag to get through. But it's worth it just to get to the incredible season 9. That's not to say there aren't good/fun moments in 7 and 8, just generally it's not good
