The F word isn't that bad of an omission. His introduction scene played way better without the F bomb; as he said in an interview, what works in the comics doesn't always translate well to TV, and that's a prime example.

Remember when Rick was a straight monster right before getting to Alexandria? Carl to a lesser degree is the same. Rick is a grown man and learned to accept loss to move on. Carl has basically been growing up and seen the people he loved die over and over. Seeing that stuff as a kid really messes somebody up and Im starting to notice him grow more ruthless as time goes on.

Yeah, after this episode im thinking that Carl want to have such power and repect as Negan does. I didn't read the comics but it's obvious that Negan has really impressed him despite his eariel actions to Carl's group. Rick did give up and Carl do not want to do this and due to this Rick lost a lot of respect in the Carl's eyes.

I really dont get why people are complaining so much about Negan. Hes a pretty good adaptation of Negan in the comics (with the exception of the body size and lack of swear words). If anything, the lack of Negan has been the biggest drawback of this season (like the Tara episode). Hopefully Negan kills of a certain character next week, just like in the comics.
