I really loved Henry. He was just a good kid with a good heart and he had good intentions. And at the end of the day he was just a child & he was Carol's kid. I hate that this has happened to her again

I absolutely think he was last. I don't think they killed them first either. They likely started the beheadings once they started fighting back, it seems like they started on the Highwaymen & DJ before the barn scene finishes too. Horrible way to go. Still pissed.

I have a feeling that DJ was first though because since we saw her use a machete to chop the heads off, I didn't ever see her use or have a machete before the barn scene but I do remember that DJ had a machete so she probably used his machete and killed him first then probably the Highwayman next and so on

This has been on my mind and I'm sure you or some other peeps have some theories...aside from being VERY upset about ALOT of people dying, specifically YOUNG people, I can't help but ponder how the hell did Alpha get all of them out of the Fair? Did other Whispers infiltrate the Fair like Alpha, and if so, how could they grab all of them? I know some were leaving the Fair to head back but were they all on the road and just jumped or surrounded by Whispers? They show you how the kills went down but not how she got all of them together!!! This episode was startling! Great reaction!

Dude I had the same reaction on the death pole scene I was both angry and sad. The story that the character told the others I literally cried my eyes out like how I cried for Glenn, Carl, Rick, and Shiva the tiger. My prediction is that either Carol, Neagan, or Lydia would kill Alpha because she deserves to die and she’s crazy.

So, the "anniversary couple", Hilde and Miles. They said "Happy Anniversary!" when they first found the Hilltop. Then again when Hilde gave Miles that "H" coin/pendant she made. It was one year later. Then they said it again as they were leaving for the Fair. It was another year. Thus, that time period at the beginning was two years.

I don't know if this is going to help or hurt right now (but my intentions are pure)... I wasn't surprised Henry died because he was not Carl 2.0. He had one sliver of Carl's comic story. Keeping him alive would've confused the direction of the future... TWD is Rick's story; Only RJ and Judith are heirs to the next generation of TWD.

I was really liking Henry, I appreciated that he always tried to do the RIGHT thing even if it wasn't the smart thing or the safe thing. I was looking forward to some Henry/Lydia adorableness too. And Enid and Tara too :( Also the highwayman Ozzy, he was brand new to the group only joined to see a movie and was so loyal he died to try and save people and he probably never even met most of them.

I agree, dude. Henry died a hero. I loved him as a character. As a comic reader, I associated comic Lydia to TV Lydia, too, including all that horrific stuff. What an iconic and unique comic transition to the screen, 10/10 on all points: acting, writing and score. Ezekiel creating the Fair and Daryl seeing the herd was better than the comic. Pikes were better in the comics but reactions better on the show because of Carol and Daryl. Glad that Alpha had her comic monologues, visually the herd Valley and the pikes looked amazing, Henry did his job on starting the comic Whisperers conflict, from now on Judith will fulfil the Carl role but in different scenarios and Lydia will be connected with Daryl and Carol.

I like Ozzy as well. I instantly fell in love with his character because of the fact that he was played by Angus Sampson from the Insidious movies. At that point, I didn't care of he was good or bad. I hate how they just slipped him in there and swatted him like a fly. Since the Highwaymen were not in the comics, I think the show writers are really onto something with them. They should make a spinoff of Ozzy and the Highwaymen that go from the start of the apocalypse to the barn scene. Since Ozzy is a big dude, I think it would take work to subdue him. I imagine the Whisperers trying to bind him with chains, but he breaks free and kills more of them until Beta runs him through and then Alpha...you know what happens. I know it sounds dumb to love a character that only lasted two episodes, but that's how powerful Ozzy was. Old west/civil war inspiration that wields a pipe wrench out of all things...that's the amazing originality The Walking Dead is more than capable of.

I watch your reactions and of all the reactors, it's clear to me that you are the biggest fan, at least of the source material anyway. How can you keep watching? Like you, I was very done when they killed off Carl, got excited cuz I thought Henry would be this huge future character with some of Carl's story, only to be let down... AGAIN. Fuck this show. There is no future or end in sight. I love Judith and everything, but at this point she's gonna be the only person in the world alive in her age group. I want to see badass kids... I wanted to see Old Man Carl and the show to end on a high. While I'm kind of glad Henry won't get to "steal" Carl's and what should have been CHANDLER'S moment/ story, I'm very annoyed with the show purposefully throwing curveballs in order to "shock" us. Too much shock factor = no decent storytelling as there's no one left to care about.

Tammy was the saddest death of them. Henry was kinda sad cause he just found love w Lydia. But character wise and the stupid sh*t he put us through this season. I won't miss him. Enid and Tara were sorta just there. Enid was fine when she looked after Maggie during her pregnacy after that whatever. I lost interest in Tara during the Oceanside story. So overall to me it's TWD just getting rid off people that are no longer needed. I only wish Ezekiel and Rosita were among them.
