Saints & Sinners does everything this game does but 100x better. Shame its a VR title so not many people have access to it. The stealth and survival aspects make it a really tense experience.

My Mom got this game for me on my 15th birthday - I grinded out all the achievements within a few months and genuinely enjoyed it. I recently grinded out the achievements for Steam and still enjoyed playing through it. Idk man - I think I'm the only one who didn't hate this game and was just happy that it was a survival horror game.

Best time I had with a TWD game was Saints and Sinners. It taught me that you can deal with zombies and muggers by beating them to death with a pan or stabbing them in the face with a spoon

Opinions are opinions, but the Telltale games are definitely not the only TWD games worth playing. First and foremost is Saints and Sinners (and the sequel, I guess). It's kind of like a VR version of Project Zomboid, but regardless, it's a must-play game. Not since Silent Hill 2 have I felt such dread while creeping around a corner. Second, the mobile game No Man's Land is perfectly acceptable and isn't gacha or P2W. It's the best game based on the TV show. That's pathetic, I know, but I'll die on that hill. It has an original engine and, for free, is a great RTS game. But Saints and Sinners is the masterpiece of TWD games. The world it drops you into represents the zombie apocalypse better than anything before or since. You are there, in the shit, and it is glorious. At the end of the day we will always have the "State of Decay is the best TWD game" meme to fall back on.

Small thing but 6:00 'Survivors collecting supplies for "local communities"' feels like a concept thats far too early in the timeline for when this game takes place. This is pre-S1, we'd still knee deep in *holding up in the Winchester waiting for the whole thing to blow over* territory until at least season 2

Its become popular to hate on this game but it did a lot of good stuff too. I remember really liking some of the levels specifically the hospital and the drive in movie theater where you have to save the old lady’s cat. Also you can get the crossbow at the beginning, but you do have to complete the game once under certain conditions to unlock that. Plus you’ve got Daryl and Merle in a prequel tale, theres a lot to like about the game

If there is one thing that TWD fans and videogame Players can agree on is that the only The Walking Dead games that are worth playing are the ones made by Telltale. I played all the five seasons and I can tell you: They're incredible, whether you're fan of the show/comics or not. Unfortunately, TWD Survival Instinct had some good ideas, but the game itself is a joke.

Survival instinct is alright and Destinies is crap but i played it 3 times back to back. They know all the fans of TWD are going to buy it so these games are the definition of a cash grab. From that prospective the games could have been way worse. After i adjusted to the jank and payed no mind to the graphics i had alot of fun laughing my way through Destinies. Survival Instinct was hard but i had fun with the gameplay and the graphics are decent looking i think. I enjoyed the video, thanks Mungo well done

I remember the time I bought this from Steam sales, it was rather cheap. You can't buy it anymore. Oddly enough, I somewhat enjoyed this game although I'm more of a fan of the comic universe than TV. It's a lot better than the last TWD game we got. I liked the combat mostly and Daryl was the best part of the game. Still it mostly sucks, has lot of flaws and looks awful. What baffles me though is that how is it possible that a multi million dollar franchise such as TWD can't make a decent game from the TV show? In 2013 the show was at it's peak and money should not be an excuse. Why would AMC butcher this beloved franchise like this, over and over again? I still don't get and never will. I'm glad Telltale knew how to do it.
