I don't think Rick was demoted. I think the scenes where he is wearing the worker jacket is a flashback and him in the black CRM attire is current. Also, in some of the behind the scenes photos of Rick walking around that town, he talks to Jadis and she is in plain clothes and still has long hair. That leads me to believe this was a short while after they initially arrived.

Rick is wearing the same jacket as the people who worked in the culling facilities in World Beyond wore. In 11x24 Rick was called a “consignee” and had the jacket and the same weapon the cullers used. Rick was assigned to the culling facilities after his capture and recovery

Their TWD S11 post credits ending was scrapped for a reason. Rick & Michonne "reuniting" with discount Carl stand-ins Judith & RJ would never give fans the same feeling as when Rick reunited with Lori & Carl. So if they decide to scrap RJ & Judith from the story as rumors suggest, I'd be perfectly fine with it. It could've worked if Carl was still around, but since he isn't, just forget about RJ & Judith.

Exactly. And I believe that will have a greater bearing on the overall show than what has been released. It would not make sense if it doesn't. The commonwealth, Alexandria and the new outpost village they began setting up at the end of the regular show have to be involved. I'm thinking they might get struck by Jadis' forces causing Rick and the rest of the group to go ham and take out crm.

As well the leader of commonwealth (now in prison) definitely knew of the crm as she was a huge figure before the apocalypse. Plus the location of the commonwealth is very close to Pennsylvania where the CR has its main facility.

we thought morgan did the miles.. michonne is off to portland. via the mountains.. shes going through the mountains when she comes.. wonder if that's what she meant by 'going north' (around to portland - instead of through?) (depends i suppose on which way helicopters have been drawing walkers away from portland. (or towards portland. seeing as there is supposed to be a large unknown settlement there too.. that is under imminent threat from crm?) anyway - i googled oregon trail.. remember the trail of tears story, with darryl and carol? its cuts a path through to where rick is via all the mountain ranges.. i bet michonne is going to hoof it through that way.. goes through wyoming etc the fear kids made it to portland going east to west - we didnt see how. nor were even slightly interested in the path they took to get there.
