You're musings about rarely doing anything for more than 10 years struck a chord with me. From my late teens onward I made it a point to purposefully change professions at least every decade. As a consequence, over the next 5 decades I was a clinical chemist in the US Army, a private investigator, a slots manager in the casino industry, ran a senior center, managed a restaurant, and lastly worked as a sales person in retail. Lived a 'hella life and now retired and turning 70! 😆

Here's one of my stories: I have always struggled with making friends. I have Autism, adhd, and anxiety (or as i like to say; the AAA battery brain) You can probably imagine that i've not always been understood. Last year, i made my first real friends. (All of them some form of neurodivergent) I remember one day we were all hanging out together and one of them says that they want a hug, so they all hugged. I sat by the side, as i usually do in these situations. One of my friends looked at me and asked if i wanted to join the group hug. (Remember, first real friends, ive not been hugged by anyone except family) I asked if it was alright if i did. They said of course, why wouldnt it be, youre our friend. I did this thing i usually do where i give way too much extra background context and i told them about my struggles with finding real friends. They sat and listened, and i when i finished they kinda just sat there. And then they told me something i will never forget: "Well, youre our friend now" I almost cried then because i have never been told that before then. We now do regular "group snugs" where we all just lay on top of each other and sit in silence Those are my best friends.

one of the childhood stories I have is the thing my mom's friend organized when I was maybe around 7. The guy specialized in creating crafts based on fantasy stories - he and his team made clother and weapons like swords and daggers and axes, so he decided to organize some events for kids. It was Robin Hood themed, they prepared the small section of a forest to lay down some games for us, he hired some actors to play the roles, and he made it the quest for us kids - we had a camp, and we had to solve the riddles to help Robin Hood to fight off evil or something (I don't remember the exact details) but OHH BOY did I enjoy it. It was such a big boost for my imagination - it felt like the entire forest was ours, I really got into the story and my "role" as a helper, like a rogue of some kind lol. Words can't describe how amazing it felt to imagine myself in that scenario - cooking food in the camp(kids helped chop veggies for soup), playing around with wooden weapons, and getting permission to hold the real ones - all of that was insanely amazing, and thanks to my mom and her friend that I was able to participate in that event :D The path story really brought back some of these memories, maybe one day I'll be able to help organize something like this too, for all the theatre kids who love to go out of bounds

Ren's vids, the content on Hermitcraft, and so many other things give me smiles and laughs that prove to me that the world isn't all as dark the past would say. Need more rendog stories even when you're back. Reminded me of when I was in fourth grade and did the talent show with my at the time bff who was a seasoned theater child, and we made up a complex choreography and sung Matilda (Acapella style) for our school talent show and got to go last and skip all practice because of how good we were and literally the ATTENTION the PRAISE magical. And when I did my first full show it was that feeling x100 cuz it was an official stage and a full house of 400 people .

I'm not sure if it's the earliest, but when I was about 14 years old I got really into Pokemon breeding. Me and a friend learned all about how IVs, EVs, natures, and all that worked, and how you could breed the perfect Pokemon. I made my own spreadsheet to calculate the stats of a Pokemon when you had certain IVs and EVs, among other things. Now, 13 years later, I make a living playing RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 in a similar super optimized manner. Gotta know how everything works and gotta exploit it to the fullest. My other big hobby, watching long track speedskating, is the exact same as there I keep track of all kinds of statistics and have lists of everything.

thank you for the story!! i have one to tell, myself. this is what kickstarted my creative endeavours. i’ve always been a creative. when i was much younger, I would always be making up creative stories, playing pretend, dancing, singing, and drawing. i was around 4 so i was horrible at it, but i had fun. i remember i would doodle on all my work and my teachers would get VERY upset with me. but, i think one of the moments that led me to my creative endeavours was when i was 7. my mother went to audition for the local ‘sound of music’ show in town, and took me and my brother with her. I didn’t even know what was happening, but I saw people going up to sing, so I went up too. i improvised a very short song (thanks to my mind blanking on music) and ended up landing the role of gretl. it was my first ever acting role. it was on the smaller side, but i loved it. an old music teacher of mine (rest in peace :[) was one of the directors, which helped me feel at ease. i had so much fun that i decided to do it for three more years after that (Anne of green gables, Mary poppins, and a Christmas carol. during the last one, i began drawing more seriously, which i will never regret!). unfortunately, this is around when my anxiety started to take hold. i specifically remember at one audition i asked my mom to come up on stage to support me, but i was so frightened that i couldn’t sing, and i hid behind my mom in tears (i still got a part though LOL). i’ve always had a bit of stage fright, so I preferred being in the ensemble. i had a role, but nobody had their eyes on me. but as i grew older, i started wanting more attention. in the local production of elf the musical in 2022, i’d landed two ensemble roles. one of an elf, and another of an angry teenager who interacted with buddy, the main character. i had a few standalone lines, not shared with anybody else. this excited me, for some reason. i still had anxiety, but i wanted to be on stage like that. I wanted to be highlighted. to have my presence known. it helped me become more comfortable on a stage, in the public eye. I wasn’t there to be watched, I was there to be *seen*, if that makes sense. i did the lines, and i think i did them well. i auditioned for the next musical (Addams family the musical) and got another ensemble part, but i did hand Wednesday an apple, which is quite important to the plot (if you know you know i guess). i feel more inspired to perform nowadays. i watch musical tapings on KZbin and think to myself, “i want to do that. i want to be the one who sings that song, who says that line.” i’d love to do more musicals, but my disability tends to hold me back a little bit in spite of everything. hopefully, i can get back on stage sometime.

I have played Minecraft for 12 years now and I feel that this is what I was meant to do, though I don't do videos. Years ago I failed at many relationships because of many issues, but the one that has made me who I am now, is my last one. I was given MC for a birthday gift, 55th to be precise. I started learning MC a few months before that and needed inspiration. So I looked on line for a youtuber to watch. Rendog's S1 E57 popped up and I watched it. I then had to binge watch the previous 56 episodes to catch up. I learnt much from you Ren and you are still my inspiration in life. Anyway, over my (12) years on the same server, I got to be a Nana to a lot of kids and they would confide in me. I helped many handle bullies and other life issues. My last relationship died because I was spending all my time on MC with my friends/family. I lost much of my real family over the years along with my kids and their kids. Which leaves me now alone. But I did find out one thing in all this sadness, and that was I was happy being alone with all of my years long family on line. The end of my life might be hard to do alone and this I am yet to find out. But I will know, that I helped people/kids/friends become the people they are today. That, makes me a proud Nana. 😊😉😇🥰 + 🥲

As someone who's always been that awkward "there but not quite there" kid, that story just hit me. Honestly I don't know if being an outsider kid is what made me want to work with childcare, but it's certainly been the motivation to keep working. Like I know what it's like to be a weird, or sometimes emotional kid, and I know that life isn't gonna always get easier as you grow up. So for me it's like the chance to give these kids a sense of being loved and cared for

for me, i always had questions about how everything worked. i’d often find myself disassembling toys and electronics just to see what’s going on inside of them. i annoyed everyone with questions about how things worked around me. later, i found myself in a school with an engineering program. i loved it immediately. the creativity, the problem solving, the question-answering… it all tickled my brain in the most fulfilling way. to this day, i’m very grateful that i was able to figure out what i wanted to do so early in life, not everyone is so fortunate

My origin story starts of learning my way up. As a kid, they thought I would be a DLC kid in school. These are the kids that have disabilities and go to school to learn at a basic function rather than your average student. I could not pay attention, I knew nothing about how to treat people, and everything bothered me. I did not even get down potty training until middle school and it took until high school for me to finally have regular bowl movements (I use to hold it in for like 6 days because I absolutely hated the sensation). I then gained weight and reached my lowest self esteem ever at about 15. Addicted to junk food, porn, and hating myself, this was my lowest yet. I am now the age of 18. I have lost ~100 pounds (45 kg), in college now, eat regular foods, go to the gym 5 days a week, drive now, and so much more I had to fight to get that most other people have. Everyone has the power to change something about themselves. Even if you're addicted to something or depressed, doesn't mean it's going to be that way.

Hmm you know I always attributed my love for forestry as a product of my teenage years - I attended a vocational school focused on agricultural careers - but thinking back before then…my family has a tradition of planting trees on the old farm property for every kid that’s born. Because my chunk of the family lived on the old farm, I was there for every new tree, and I was there watching them grow everyday. I remember one year there was a huge outbreak of spongy moth - the trees were completely defoliated and there were just piles of these invasive caterpillars all over the place. I was so upset because the trees had been so weakened there were almost no flowers or fruit that year. Now, just two years ago, I worked doing surveys of spongy moth defoliated stands over thousands of acres across the state. Funny how being grossed out by thousands of hairy caterpillars and sad about my brothers’ and cousins’ trees being defoliated might have led me here.

It's not an origin story, but wall-related, or at least fence-related. As a teenager, I had a summer job at a company that hired a group of us every year, and spent a few summers working in the grounds department of their headquarters. Sometimes they came up with the oddest tasks for us to do, since they needed to keep us busy. Four of us were assigned the job of painting a chain link fence, and we settled on 2 of us on each side, one with a small roller to get in the tight areas and another with a large roller to get the rest. I learned so much about life in general from that job. 1) Authority figures don't always know what they're talking about. A supervisor complained that we were on the same section of fence as some previous time, not realizing we had very efficiently moved two sections over, but it was hard to tell unless you counted the fence posts. 2) Look for ways to improve things. We learned early on that if we stood opposite the pair on the other side, everyone would invariably end up spattered with paint, so we figured out to offset our work areas. 3) Find good people to work with. The four of us really bonded over that strange task, having some good discussions out there under the sun, singing some songs, and keeping each other's spirits up.

As far as being on opposite sides of a fence, I have a life filled with adversity which I still haven't figured out. Why is it so prominent in my life? But here's a story of opposite sides of a log and nature. My folks had purchased their retirement home in Grand Marais MN. back when I was 13. I had developed some friendships over the school breaks visiting up there and one particular friend lived a short distance out of town and his Dad owned a Timber Sale. A Timber Sale is where you log a section of wood and sell it to the local lumber yard. His dad also had his pulp truck for hauling logs and converted a Highway Heavy machine engine into his sawmill. His father built his own house with his work all rough cut, and the chicken coup and the horse barn. His mom did gardening and canning and the only household heat was a very large wood-fired cast stove. I was so impressed by their abilities I enjoyed going over there. One night we slept above the chicken coup in a little attic. It smelled of dry straw and the sounds of quiet birds. Another time, on the ground with his colt which would lie down with us and let himself be covered with a blanket. One time visiting, his dad was going to light the slab wood which is a massive pile of "bark trimmings" from the sawmill. This is wintertime. The wolves came out. Timberwolves. It's dark. They are curious about the massive fire. Maybe there will be food. The howling are many, and near. Do you want to ride out and see the wolves? We often rode horses along their 80 acres. Or mended the electric fence line and kept growth away. Yeah, sure, let's go see them. I got on his dad's horse Dominoe. Probably a 1/4 mile away from their home Domino becomes skittish and wildly. We decide to return the horses. We walk out there. And nothing is at the blaze but we can hear them. I asked if we should go into the wood and look. He teaches me to see the wolf you can't look at it directly but out of the corner of your eye look for the glimmer or glow returned from the fire. He said if they sense you know their presence they will turn their head or close their eyes. I start walking in. The snow isn't that deep. Mid-calf maybe. I can move into it. A tree had fallen in the way a short distance. I climbed over it and on the other side I was thigh-deep in snow and stuck. My friend ran forward and grabbed my arm to pull me back over the log. It was time to leave gently. Though I never saw a wolf out there that time The panic stirred some movement. We made our way back to the road and the homestead. Pretty much thankful they weren't interested in open fields at that time.

I was told if I wanted to go see bears, they like to rummage through the open garbage pit. I was told bears have shorter legs than the front and they sort of scoot on their hind end going down steep hills. This is the "fact" at which I got my dad to bring me there to see the bears. I was also told as long as they aren't surprised or cornered they will pretty much ignore you. I was maybe 15, born in 74 equipped with a 35mm camera. My dad was curious too, he climbed the maybe 15-foot hill to the top. Must have been 35, 40 bears up there. A couple of cubs off in the distance in a tree watching the group. My dad lasted about 15 seconds. Said he was going back down to the car. Maybe 40 feet was the closest and though he wasn't interested he was becoming annoyed. I got my photos and left. I think a bear being incapable of running downhill isn't really a fact.

Last one. A couple of other friends introduced me to a game of.. I dare you to run out to the lighthouse and run back. I thought that was silly, like who couldn't do that? This section of Lake Superior breakwater sheltering the small harbor of Grand Marais is a length of very large mixed pieces of trap rock or ridge rock which is like crust material and often seen around railroad beds because it dampens vibrations. There are a lot of crevices and sharp points but I felt I could make good time. He then said, I had to get out and get back without getting pooped on. By seagulls. Lots of them. What I didn't know was the Baby Seagull chicks nestled safely in pockets in small holes between the large rocks. Which is why were why there were so many seagulls there. I found out shortly after reaching about the half way point, bounding over a rock and bracing positions with arms hands found myself surprised seeing a seagull chick stairing and chirping at me. Immediately heightened senses at the real reason the seagulls were swarming I focused my intent outward. I'm not here to hurt you, I'm not here to hurt you. And I pushed forward putting them out of my mind, tagged the lighthouse, and ran back avoiding the area of the known chick. Did it. I said to him, slightly mad, Now your turn. He refused to go. Apparently, a seagull had attacked his head when he made his run. While I didn't feel any droppings hit my head or back shoulder blades I wasn't completely unscathed with a small tag on my left shoe, which of course he pointed out. It's okay, I'm leaving.

Alright .. I was exploring the area of an abandoned copper mine. Just looking around maybe hoping to find a cool piece of green rock. It was densely covered with leafy bottom and also the area called the Dalles where a deluge of water of the former glaciers cut through the rock forming the St. Croix River. I'm walking through a wooded area in the spring and there are many rock walls, not large but remnants. I keep going uphill and I see a snake and I don't like them. So I go a different direction. And another snake. And I didn't like that snake any better. Though not poisonous I don't like them at all. But, I want to find a chunk of copper. In another 15 minutes or so I noticed more snakes. I took a better look around and I was essentially surrounded by them. I turned pale a little. There was a 3- 6 inch base of leaves and twigs and sticks and they blended in so well. The terrain was that undoubtedly any direction I chose would cross paths with more snakes. Never again will I mistake the vector of copper hunting for the trap of spring snake sunbathing. I filmed a walking stick that day earlier. First time I ever saw one of those. Very creepy strange thing.

You know your history reminded me of something, when I was younger my mom took me and my sisters to a boat ride to see coral, I remember floating near a rock wall wearing a snorkel and just watching all those fish swimming around and I could watch them forever! While everyone else was swimming around and playing I'm the water I was just happy watching fish. I always knew I wanted to work with animals, but I also wanted to research the sea so now I go to uni for oceanography.

Thank you for sharing your wall story. Here’s a quick wall story of mine that’s slightly similar. There was a wedding reception at my house, and I wanted to dance but not be focused on, but with the unique way the landscaping and gardens and the pool are snapped it was very difficult to do so. I ended up slipping into the gardens area outside of the crowd and started dancing, but what I didn’t realize was that I had put myself on a wall in high view of everyone now watching my silly dance. The crowd laughed but not embarrassingly but supportively. So that was fun.

Loving the stories Ren, it's so nice to get to know you and how you became the wonderful person you are ❤ Here's a bit of my story. I was a very shy very introverted kid (still am) and I had a pretty rough childhood, so I don't have a lot of memories from being a kid (trauma), but I do remember playing video games on the PS1, Nintendo and PC for the most part and I would often play video games that had animals in them. I love animals and I always wanted to be a vet when I was kid and into my teen years, however that's not what I'm doing today in-fact my job is just a paycheck so I can live atm. I had a teacher in high school tell me I was "too stupid" to be a vet and to think of something else, she completely threw my life's trajectory and I spiraled and floated in an abyss for many years. I'm much older now and I know that, that path wasn't for me, I want to do something with games, it's always been in my blood , (it was my escape from the life going on around me) and I have started to take those steps towards doing what I love and that's video games. So while my path was hit with a bump in the road I still have ended where it began.

I was never into theater, but I was in a garage band in college. I'm also an introvert, but I never had even the slightest twinge of stage fright. I think part of that was that we practiced until we confident in our ability to perform. They say the amateur practices until they can do it right but the professional practices until they can't do it wrong.

i have a little bit of a simaler story. long story short, i made a vrchat world , spent months on it sweat and blood in to it. then befor it was fully finished a event happend in a group based on what inspired the world. it was a big event, dozens of people entered the world. and i just felt something i cant explan. standing in a world I made , surrounded by people congratulating how good the world turned out. one of the highest points in my life was that event.

I love your story times! They are very entertaining, speaking of which they remind me of a story from my own childhood. It is kind of long but it is a defining moment in my life. This is the story of how I came to learn what I was good at: making up stories and designing and building things and the fact that I usually only enjoy things if I have a companion. It takes place when I was about 6 or 7. Me and my older brother loved to play in the woods behind our house. Specifically we liked to play on this one fallen tree. It had fallen in such a way that it was stuck suspended about 4ft above the ground, I don’t understand why but it used to grow small mushrooms that would die every winter and become very dry and thin but not brittle. Well me and my brother liked to pick them off the tree and use them as money that we called “chips”. Since the tree had fallen into a horizontal position a little way above the ground my brother decided to make it into a lean to fort. We decided that would be his “house” and I would live above it on a branch of the tree it leaned against. (This branch was a perfect U shape and it was surprisingly comfortable to sit on) in order for me to keep my “house” I needed to pay him 3 chips every hour. Since I couldn’t take chips off of the big log which grew them then I had to resort to selling things to my brother so I could get chips from his log. I decided I would sell weapons and materials for him to build his house. (Weapons as in I would rub a stick against a rock until it was kinda sharp, it wouldn’t actually be able to hurt anything). My brother needed sticks to build his “house” and he hated to go out and search the various old wood piles for dry sticks and logs so I would go get the dry wood and he would pay me chips for it. (We eventually had our own little economy this way) We did this each and everyday all summer, eventually my brother bought enough materials from me that he finished his house and didn’t need anything else from me. So I could no longer afford to pay him rent on my house. I was pretty upset that we couldn’t play anymore and my brother then decided he was bored and stopped playing in the woods with me. I was very lonely playing alone in the woods but I decided to persist, I decided to make maps of the woods, I made secret hidden forts everywhere, and I set everything up so we could play again if he ever got interested again. He never did so I began playing pretend and liked to say that all of our adventures was actually people from thousands of years ago. I made up an imaginary friend who would go on adventures with me. All the forts were the homes of the chip farmers who would collect chips for the capital city. And the capital city was the first fort my brother and I built together. My Imaginary friend and I went on many adventures, we would get "quests" from the stray cats that would often snuggle up in my old forts (I would pretend they asked us to fix their homes or get rid of vines and rocks from a small patch of dirt that I would call their "farm") I would often pretend that deer were evil monsters that liked to attack and raid the city’s food supply and break down the gates. I would often go hunting for “deer” (I was actually too afraid to go near real ones but I would always defeat the pretend ones) and another foe I had was (similar to devilsnare from Harry Potter) all the prickers (tall plants with thorns). I would often go on these adventures and make up short stories or skits that I unfortunately do not remember all that well. I had fun that way for a long time, I would always explore further into the woods and build more forts, I probably strayed into a few peoples private property and built a few forts. Although I always was just building the world and making stories.

Live corals would make really good grass imo. You could even have a variety of colors separating different habitats in the base. You could even tie in the regular grass, it would make environmental sense if some regular grass was trying to etch out a living on the borders of a hostile alien biome.

Thinking back to formative moments just happened to me yesterday at a showcase for my senior year in college. Somene asked me why I wanted to make games, and the origin of it was going to my only elementary school friend's house and playing Age of Mythology on hi computer. I loved to mess around with the level editor and make custom missions for us to play with. That moved forward to playing Halo 3 for the first time and learning the forge tools, making custom games and sharing them with the community. Those two things were really the starting point of me knowing that I wanted to make games.

I know all creators exaggerate parts of there personality into a character, but I feel like you overdo it sometimes. It's great for storytelling yes, but It feels like I'm watching a carefully written character more than just some guy playing Minecraft. Your streams, and these slower videos are the best content you produce imo.

Epic episode and story XD Ren's childhood story of the wall reminded me of a wall in my childhood that my sister and I would adventure on during school holiday's when visiting our Grandpa in Natal. We had so many adventures on that wall; we would hide in the bushes and tree branches along the wall every time we heard someone, as we were not allowed on the wall. It was so much fun.

This, and the path episode really has me thinking about my childhood and teens, and reviving memories that have been buried for some time ... Thank you for that, Ren. I have always been an extreme introvert myself, love time spent alone. I remember as a kid, i would spend a lot of the summers at my grandparents place, sometimes playing with my cousins... But the best times was by myself, playing in the forests surrounding the property, just exploring, looking for signs of animals and studying plants. When i was really little i used to sit just on the edge of the forest, making a little pretend farm out of sticks, leafs, pinecones and such... So now as an adult, i can see that i have always loved to be in nature, learning about it, and creating stuff with my hands... And i have been able to realise this dream of sorts, since i live in the forest, have a creative job, and too many hobbies... Gosh, this became a long post. Sorry 🙈 i just wanted to thank you for your videos, and making me think about, and remember good times from many years ago. Hope you have a wonderful time in South Africa 😊

The earliest memory that I can think of that defined me is probably when my mom got me a bunch of polymer clay, and with that clay I created a small bunny sculpture, when my mother saw it she picked it up and showed it to every one of our guests and said "Isn't she talented? She's going to be a famous artist one day" Granted, I'm not famous, and I'm kinda of glad at that, but I do, do art still and am glad my mother lovingly pushed me to do more art in her own way. I love her dearly.

My earliest memory of being sure of who I wanted to become was back when I was about 7 and my Aunt was on TV for her work, but refused to tell me how a certain effect was done. (I was sure she knew and just wouldn't tell me, but now I know how it was done and that she had no idea how it was done at the time.) So now that I'm in an animation/vfx work field, I can confidently say that was my first run with movie magic and what triggered my desire to learn about it.

As far as origin story goes you pretty much sum up that something defined my future career path. Born into a literal internet cafe, everyone my late grandmother included said I’d be some sort of engineer because I liked to draw a lot. Fast forward nearly 2 decades later I’ve graduated my course to be a network engineer and part time artist so having a job where I can design networks is pretty cool for my artistic side.

Renimissing love the stories from the past. I'm 66 this year and claim the oldest minecraft player. Play almost daily since 2013 after watching my son obsessed with mc. My best memories of mc were spending countless hours playing mc with him on the old split screen xbox360. These days it's just me still playing. Keep up the old stories Ren. When I was in the Boy scouts I would go adventure to a mountain summer camp for a couple weeks every year. My dad was the range master for shooting at the time so I would always go up a few days early with him. It was great to have the run of the place, just me and a few other kids whose parents were working there. One time me and a couple others decided to go hiking off trail, our goal was to discover a new way down to a beautiful glen that was at the end of the well established "Firebird Trail." Needless to say we didn't find the glen, but I did find myself separated from the group and quite lost, and as a pre-teen quite nervous... There I was, middle of the forest, no trail in sight, but I did thankfully have a general idea of which direction to go as I essentially just had to hike back up the mountain. Well, I finally found the river which would lead me to the farthest west side of the camp, so I followed that up until I was back on property. The adventure didn't end there though, we had a resident black bear that the ranger would allow to raid his dumpster to keep her away from the camping areas. Well, she was quite a far away from her normal stomping grounds that day, and so was I. Fate decreed that we would meet face to face. I was scared shitless to suddenly see a huge shadow emerge from the bushes on the side of the trail and stop right in front of me. Luckily she was a gentle soul, I looked at her, and she looked at me, felt like ages. And then the nice lady seemed to lower her head to me, I don't know much about bear behavior but at the time I thought she was nodding saying it was okay. Either way she turned away from me and continued on her way, as did I. I'm just grateful it wasn't a few years later when a more aggressive male moved onto our corner of the mountain, because then she had some cubs.

I've been watching Minecraft KZbin videos since it was still in alpha, and got really hooked on them during mind crack and the early hermit craft days. I never realized the transition from just straight cut story telling to these processes, super cut videos that are more popular today until you mentioned them in the last few videos. It's so nostalgic and nice to see, I never realized that I was missing it. Back then I use to listen to paulsoaresjr essentially tell stories while playing Minecraft.

When wondering what to do when I grew up my dad told me to focus on my values and what was most important to me. I listed 3 things: creativity, service, and puzzles/challenges. At university I took math, then computer science, then just for the fun and challenge physics. Being a data engineer is something I fell into following my values, and I’ve continued to enjoy it for the past 13 years.

For me, my moment on the wall was when I watched cartoons with my dad and my siblings. I grew up watching mostly Looney Tunes with my siblings. My dad was always come in and watch them with us. I can’t really explain it, the way he would laugh at the cartoons and watch them and then quote them later. He had gotten to the point that when he watched Tom and Jerry, he could tell you what was happening on the screen without even looking. I was a little kid so I didn’t really know what animation was. Once I found out how it worked, it just had be me hooked. I wanted my little characters to move like that too. Long story short, I’m going to college for graphic design and I’m going to draw comics on the side soon.
