Mannn I’ve always wanted to learn how to drum. My gf tells me I have a “good sense of rhythm” and when I used to make beats in class (with a pencil and the desk lol) I had people ask me if I was a drummer. Any tips on getting started? Should I take classes or is it something I can learn on my own?

Just started drumming for kinda the same reason as you Always making beats and stuff, and believe me it was the best decision ever I now have so much playing the drums I play every day for 3hours plus and it's just such an amazing feeling
