The song feels true and is well-played which is enough for me to like it. I enjoy the art-style, the tale, and the pacing of both put together too. I'm glad there is mention of happier times else the song and story would probably be too glum and gray for my tastes. I would like to see more work like this! Different tales. More true expressions put to music and art. You and yours have done well here, Galenhir. Take a bow! =)

Thanks so much Purr! The song does indeed have that "long defeat" feeling about it that Tolkien often portrayed in his writings. But as you mentioned, there is a glimmer of hope there too. And regarding your request, I do hope to be able to more songs like this. Fair travels!
