In September 2016 two friends from Norfolk embarked on a voyage of discovery in the West Highlands of Scotland. Can a 14ft Wanderer sailing dinghy truly be homely? Can you hide from the midges by anchoring a few meters off shore? Can two bolts and couple of cable ties really make a serviceable replacement for a pair of forgotten rowlocks? Watch as the pair of novice dinghy cruisers learn as they go. What could possibly go wrong?
Thanks to Roger Barnes for his inspiring and informative writing. "The Dinghy Cruising Companion", is a great guide to dinghy cruising.
This is just an amateur film of a holiday, made and shared for fun. Copyright of all music used belongs to the respective owners. Neither they nor the original artists have any affiliation to this video (they probably hate sailing dinghies). The music is used in accordance with the copyright owners’ KZbin music usage policy at the time of upload. The artists and track names are credited at the end of the video. If you like the songs, you can buy them from any reputable source.
PS: I spelt borrowed wrong and I forgot to add Flogging Molly ''Worst day since yesterday'' and Dion ''The Wanderer" to the credits. That's song three and the final song respectively.
