I left the military in 2002 , just before the invasion of Afghanistan then Iraq. All my mates went and numberous were killed and injured. I was still quite young and thought extremely hard about going back. I thought hard for months, keeping myself awake at night, all night, every night. I nearly re enlisted but something wasn't right. It smelled bad, like it wasn't a justified conflict that i could justify to myself. I decided not to go and im now very happy with that decision, it was correct. I feel and hope that many young men now will feel the same about this awful, messy conflict in the Ukraine. They need more cannon fodder and i hope the boys sense its wrong and get the hell away from it because its going to be catastrophic if we get involved the ground.

After Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Macgregor appeared on three Fox News programs in February and early March to speak in support of Russia's actions. Three days after the war began, he said "The battle in eastern Ukraine is really almost over," and predicted "If [Ukraine] don't surrender in the next 24 hours, I suspect Russia will ultimately annihilate them." Macgregor said he believed Russia should be allowed to seize whatever parts of Ukraine it wanted. In his second appearance, he revised his prediction: "The first five days Russian forces I think frankly were too gentle. They've now corrected that. The NATO argument is secondary. The Baltic states joined NATO and Russia didn't invade them. Now Finland joined NATO and Russia didn't invade them. That's because Russia didn't invade Ukraine because of Ukraine wanting to join NATO. It did it because of the primary argument: The primary argument is that there was a bloody coup in Kiev 2013/2014 and the new ultra-nationalistic regime that overtook the power with violence made a series of extreme purges. Purge in politics - there were videos with elected members of parliament getting thrown in garbage containers on the street. Purge in media - complete shut down of any media outlets that are not sympathetic to the violent regime. Purge in the ethno-cultural landscape - ban on Russian language and all Russian cultural identity (literature, music, holidays, traditions, etc.). That extreme ethno-cultural purge was the reason the whole Eastern Ukraine (the so called Donbass), where people are 90% Russian to raise against it and to declare independence from the Kiev junta that took the power unlawfully and violently, and launched an assault on Russian language, tradition and way of life. The coup was backed by the United States who called it a democratic revolution. But when this provoked a democratic revolution in Donbass this was called a terrorist and separatist activity. If the West didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards. What followed was 8 years of artillery shelling of Donetsk (and other cities) by the Kiev bloody junta. More than 10,000 civilians dead. And after 8 years of preparation and militarization the Kiev junta was ready to launch the so called by them "Anti-Terrorist Operation" in Donbass, which would've been a bloody ethnic cleansing if Russia didn't preemptively entered Donbass to defend the people from it. Russia didn't invade Ukraine, but entered friendly Donbass to protect the Russian population from ethnic cleansing.

@@JLSMaythamcorrect "Tactical" nukes are 8-50 kt range. Strategic are 80kt - 6Mt. Most strategic devices are in the hundreds of kt range, but what people don't realise is they aren't deployed as a single bomb anymore. They come in on MIRV warheads where 4-12 of them will strike in a small area, which is proven to be much more destructive than a single large device.

I just don't think it's going to happen tho. Putin's only making threats to keep NATO from interfering..obviously it's not working but so far at least we haven't sent any troops in. Nobody wants to start a nuclear war and any and every other option will be used.
