I cringed at that charged shot upgrade. I think arcs are a potentially great counter to fangs, but only against defensive fang carry, to abuse the range. When you are defending against aggro fangs, they are immediately on top of your tower, so you can't really kite them.

Honestly, they're not a good counter period, because you always expect forts, and forts are *the* counter to carry arc. Even ranging the arcs was a huge mistake. I've yet to lose to someone who goes carry fang early. All you do is buy two units: mustangs and forts. You can range/overload, they can't, because their forts are supposed to be meatshields. You win the fort duel, then you win the game. This probably doesn't work with elite because their forts have already snowballed by the time you can afford some (though the red player was handed one and took the stangs instead - a mistake I think,) but melter is okay too. But the arcs are so much wasted time and money.

Arcs xould have countered fangs, mustang could have countered fangs, stormcaller could have countered fang. Instead of picking one and keeping up he tried for all 3 leaving himself no deployments for chaff or to create problems his opponent has to deal with.

only mustang is good or wrath against fangs, and most likely you have to win in first 5 rounds then its hard with anything. - Zamos cheers buddy
