Written by Pau after a friend tried to encourage her to blow off her commitments to the band to instead hang out, because "you guys aren't going anywhere anyway". A pissed off Pau is something special. The last time that happened it resulted in the band releasing a song immediately upon writing and recording it, rather than waiting for the next album. The band had been accused by critics of being cultural traitors for writing in English rather than their native Spanish. Pau, 17 at the time, writes a blistering response to these people, in defense of herself and her sisters. It's their first song written in Spanish. They debuted the song in their hometown and recorded the show. Despite being sung in Spanish Pau also projected the lyrics on the screen behind her, so that the message to these critics was clear. The song and Pau's performance is a high-point for the band for me. The original is called Narcissista - Live at Foro Didi, and is a must-see. But if you want to pair up a video like you do, the Teatro version is also amazing, as Pau steps out from behind the kit and her drum teacher takes over for her, allowing her to prowl the stage like the rock star that she is. Both performances are Pau classics. And I've not even touched on Dany and Ale's contributions, which are also standout. It's a great track in every way.

TW themselves reacting to their first viewing of the completed video is just as entertaining as the video itself. I’m obliged by my own personal law that every time I watch a reactor review Animosity that I have to comment on how bad ass cool Ale’s bass slide is in the transition from the breakdown. I was painfully close to Ale during their show in Denver and it’s a experience I’ll likely never forget. That bass pounds right through you. You made a great point that it’s so obvious onstage that they really enjoy performing. There’s nothing forced or fake about it.

Pau has quiet down quite a bit since her young age - LOL - you should see her, age 15, at the TedX Arizona show from 2017 or maybe react to the title song from their first album - XXI century blood (the official video is a MUST) and then the song is also in the set list from Teatro Metropolitan - so, what's not to like :o)

When I saw the live version for this one it was over for me. I was sold on the band as songwriters and performers. It's so strong, and still a favourite. You asked me in the last video about my name and I forgot to answer, but you got it here man.

I Am The Grim Reaper is a Webtoon comic by Graveweaver. Dany, Pau, and Ale follow her cartoon strip and when Webtoon offered to do an animated music video for them, Graveweaver's comic was the natural choice to base the music video on. There is a video of when the video was debuted and The Warning talks to Graveweaver. Although the comic artist didn't do the animations (Webtoons took care of that) she was as impressed as TW were with the music video. And yes, TW enjoyed seeing themselves animated. Apparently the final product was a complete surprise until it debuted. The comic strip has well over 150 episodes, BTW. and the music video is loosely based on it, though the characters portrayed as in the comic strip.

DPA were so thrilled they were portrayed in the video it was a surprise. There's a video of the release of the MV that is so awesome. The live version of this song is sick they kill it every time. Ale uses a pick in this song which is rare she prefers using her fingers her bassline stands out all the way through especially the slides at the end. "If karma doesn't hit you then I will" so good. Pau reportedly wrote this song in response to a former school friend who dissed her and her sisters a few years ago by saying something to the effect that they were wasting their time because they would never amount to anything. I’m guessing she doesn’t get free tickets to their shows in Monterrey. 😎

Dany works hard to get the emotion correct that Pau was experiencing when she wrote this song... it is about a childhood friendship breaking up... basically the story is that someone said something like, "come hang out with us. that band thing won't amount to anything. why are you wasting your time?" well, you can imagine how that went over... the moral of the story is "Don't upset Pau or you may be memorialized in a song" 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

I went on a bit of a journey with this song. I thought the album version was pretty decent. But it was not my favorite on the album. Then the animated OMV came out, I liked it a bit more Then they released a live studio session that really got me more interested in the song. Then the Teatro version was released. I is now one of my favorites. I just got home from seeing them play two shows in Mexico, and they were amazing. Live truly is their secret sauce.
