Hopefully you can find it in your heart to excuse my finger which makes a few unintended appearances in this video 😂 The Warning plays Disciple & Evolve to complete their set opening for Halestorm at the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts in Lubbock, TX Sunday October 2, 2022

Given our point in human history, The Warning shouldn't even have been possible. They are a genuine miracle and the grand finale of rock n' roll. Soak it in.

What is so special about this band? A miracle? Grand finale of rock? You make them sound like a reincarnation of Led Zeppelin.
@TheDionysianFields Жыл бұрын
@@dieselyeti They are as important as Led Zeppelin, who are the progenitors of all pure modern rock. Rock and roll was basically dead as of the 21st century but The Warning found a way to revive it for one final stand. They will be remembered and I believe they will be the last. There are other popular bands with a rock "spirit" like 21 Pilots, but they aren't pure rock because they don't rely solely on traditional instruments to make music.

@@dieselyeti BTW, I'd say Greta Van Fleet is the other rock miracle.

@@TheDionysianFields Sorry but these comments just sound like fanboying over a girl band. Let's see what they do in the next 5-10 years before you can even mention them in the same sentence with Zeppelin. If they're still even playing then
@TheDionysianFields Жыл бұрын
@@dieselyeti They've already been around 5-10 years and they've done the impossible (based on demographic, certainly). And they did it through a pandemic, while shunning the advice of all who could/would have moved them into the mainstream. That's what makes them truly impressive. So when you say "let's see what they do in the next 5-10 years," it sounds like you're measuring them by how much pop-fame they acquire. Sorry to disappoint but I don't see these girls ever selling out. How much pop-fame did Rush ever acquire? And I'm unabashedly a fanboy because their music is just that good. Even if they broke up tomorrow and didn't write another song, they'd easily make my R&R hall of fame...which entails about 5-10 bands from each decade.

People sitting in front rows 😯 This seating thing has to be American thing? Here in Europe only Classical music concerts are in the places where you sit in seats.
@peluchingamarra31272 жыл бұрын
Depends on the place the band is playing. If it's in a theatre, then yes, you expect seats all around the place including the front rows, if it is an arena, then front and back rows are usually open area with no seats. And that's in all America from Canada to Argentina.
@ronin84712 жыл бұрын
I was at this concert. I would have been on Dani's side of the stage. From what our local rock radio station said was that they were surprised that the city actually allowed a rock concert to play at that venue because they only ever intended it to be for things like Broadway shows, comedy acts, and "milder" music acts like classical, country, etc. The fact that Halestorm, The Warning, and New Year's Day was an unexpected yet awesome surprise.
@jd08792 жыл бұрын
@@peluchingamarra3127Not true, floors can definitely have seats. It’s just rare people sit in them for the headliners. They’re an opening band so it’s normal people sit if they don’t know them
