The classic comments from fans so long ago. Dany’s stank face, as if she’s angry at the world. Dany practised in front of the mirror to channel her inner James Hetfield. Pau hitting her drums like they owe her money! Kirk Hammett said she kicks maximum a..! And little Ale, cool and calm, like walking in the park. Come to think of it…they are still like that!

re: 2014 *Enter Sandman* cover : for a trio, much less a young trio, this is fantastic! slightly different but a full wall of sound filled with raw power and grit... the child's prayer with Pau (drums) and Ale (bass) is beautiful and takes me back to my own youth and bedtimes with one of my parents coaching me along... the power of Pau on the drums, Ale's driving bass line, and Dany rocking out on guitar with her James Hetfield scowl are... whoa! then you think who needs two guitars when you have one Dany? 😹 also, i'll note that the wall behind the camera is a full mirror so all the girls can see themselves playing... this was done so they could work on their stage presence... the wall on Ale's (bass) side also has a window into the equipment side of their studio known as "The Warning Cave" or "The Cave" for short... they were 14 (Dany on guitar), 12 (Pau on drums), and 9 (Ale on bass) when this was recorded... yes! this is where they went viral, out of the blue! 10 years ago... i mean 🤯 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

They did this in one take. No post-pro. If one of them had messed up, they would have had to start the song over. They posted it on their dad's YT channel for the family and friends to watch so they wouldn't have to come to their home to see them. Then, when the video went viral they thought, "Maybe we can actually do this" and shortly after wrote their own original songs and released their first EP "Escape the Mind" in April of the following year. At that time Daniela was 15, Paulina 13, and Alejandra 10.

I remember the first time I saw this many years ago, it's still amazing. This is like watching a superhero origin story. When Metallica saw this Kirk said "The drummer kicks maximum ass" Just think, three little girls making videos for their grandparents to see how they were doing with their music, the file was too big so they uploaded it to YT and sent them the link, everyone saw it, it went viral, and "Boom" the start of The Warning.

Yeah, her kit is basically the same, though she has switched to using DW drums. Recently she has added a piccolo snare for one of their new songs. It sits off to the side of her hi-hat. I believe this set up has a cowbell. If not, she has added one for the song MORE. We call it the Pau-Bell and it sits on the right side of her kit by her front floor tom.

An interesting little tidbit about Pau's drums is that she actually had a 5th tom at some point (when she was even younger). I think it was a smaller 8-inch tom... I'm a drummer, so this stuff fascinates me. Lol

Little did any of them know that 10 years later Ale would tower above her sisters. And that Pau didn't grow much at all LOL. And that they would be formidable rock stars.

The front wall of that practice room is all one large mirror. That helped them practice their moves. It undoubtedly has been stated that they are aged 14, 12 and 9 in this performance. 😀🤟

At this point the girls were already veterans. Dany and Pau had already been playing for six years. Ale had been playing for just under two. This video launched their career. Pau said recently that she has been singing while playing drums since she started (second grade). They recorded this to show their grandparents how they were progressing and since the file was too big to send, they posted it and sent the link. They then went on a family cruise. When they got back their dad’s email was swamped. This video led to an appearence on the Ellen Show.

This is the video, in 2014, that I first discovered them. My oldest son is Dany's age and my other/youngest son is Pau's age. Oldest was taking guitar lessons and youngest was taking drum lessons at the time. I used to show this and TW's other cover songs to my sons to motivate them to practice more. It did help but once they got heavily involved in sports, the instruments were dropped. I've been following DPA ever since. My youngest, his girlfriend, and I are going to see them in person in Nashville next month. My oldest wanted to go but was supposed to be in White Sands, NM on business at the time.

Three very talented girls playing an iconic song from a four person metal band and slaying it! My favorite story about this one is that Pau and Ale were upset with Dany for practising her angry Hetfield face more than her guitar parts. Such consummate professionals, even at that age. 😎
