Hey Jimmy! Awesome introducing your wife to The Warning. Another part of the story goes, they posted this video on KZbin for their extended family to see and then left on a cruise (I think it was a cruise). They understandably did not connect to the internet on their vacation. When they came back, they had thousands of YT views and their father's email was full of inquiries about the band! They were shocked to say the least! And the rest is history. I have a feeling, one day, there will be documentaries done about The Warning and their incredible journey!

One of the reasons that sets The Warning apart from the crowd is their lyrics & songwriting. Pau is a genius. Her profound poetry is worth so many laurels. Suggest that you review Revenant, Breathe, Dust to dust, Black holes, End, etc...to understand Paulina Villarreal as a poet & her passion that comes out when she sings these songs.

*Fun Fact Correction:* Metallica asked Alessia Cara to participate on the Blacklist Album. Not The Warning. A guy who works for Alessia Cara by the way also works with The Warning suggested both artist should do a collaboration. Metallica okay the collaboration. *Fun Facts 2:* The Warning announced they will be opening for Muse (5 shows) in Europe this summer. So The Warning is playing in Europe this summer.

TW and Alessia Cara are signed with Chris Smith of 21 Entertainment Group in Toronto, Canada. It was his suggestion to Metallica for the collaboration between TW and Alessia to do a song for The Blacklist album, since Alessia had no idea about the original Black album or any song on it. Fun fact: Chris Smith saw TW at The Whiskey A Go-Go and after hearing 8 bars of the opening song approached Rudy Joffroy, TW's manager, and said "I want to be a part of this". Rudy didn't know who Chris was and politely excused himself. After the show, Chris managed to meet with them. Later he flew to Monterrey, MX and met them at their home and signed them as their International Booking Manager. Chris also sat in on the negotiations with Lava/Republic and TW. He said it was unheard of for a contract to take seven months and for the artists to be involved in every step of the contract. DPA sat in on every meeting with the Lava/Republic lawyers and read all the papers, though they had their dad Luis and Rudy explain to them. They took the signing with Lava/Republic very serious.

Fun fact: At age 9, Ale had only been playing bass for about 2 years. She started lessons at 7 when she was big enough to hold the bass, which by the way is only a 3/4 size, not even a full-size bass. One month after starting lessons, Dany and Pau saw that Ale could really play and they decided to start playing covers. At this time Dany and Pau had been on their instruments for about 4 years. So, Ale could play at their level in only a month. Dany and Pau have also said Ale was more talented at piano than them when they were Ale's age. Remember, Ale is nearly 5 years younger than Dany and nearly 3 years younger than Pau. Ale also did not get to play the Rock Band video game like Dany and Pau did.

Don't forget to tell your wife, that they sang that in their 2nd language. That Bass Ale used here, was massive for her, and it was only a 3/4 scale shorty. She said she couldn't hold a full scale at that age. Too big, and heavy for a 9 yr old little girl less than 4 ft tall. Their grade school concert was around this era too. That show is soooo worthy of a watch! I thought the TedTalks impressed me, that performance broke the Bad-Ass-O-Meter!

They are just oozing with AMAZING TALENT…even when this was just filmed for their grandparents to demonstrate their skill level. This was absolutely stunning for such incredibly young sisters. KUDOS to their parents who were and still willing to support their MUSICAL 🎶 journey. Their father even sold a few of his personal belongings to see that they obtained the best equipment. Great 👍🏽 Review with your wife.
