Pau (Paulina, or POW!!!) is 22, and has been playing piano since three, and drums since she was SIX! She received the 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year award from Drumeo, along with several other awards and nominations. If you go back and watch the two TEDx Talks they did in 2016 and 2017 at University of Nevada, you can see the evolution of this band. I like to joke that they came to Mexico from Planet Zork or something, because they have superhuman talent. Ale (Alejandra or Ah-leh) is 19, and started playing piano at six and bass at seven. Dany (Daniela) is 24, and started playing piano at five and guitar at eight. This was their tenth anniversary celebration show, where they pulled out all the stops last October. The Warning has a deep catalog, with an EP and three albums out, and another album in the can *(Keep Me Fed,* due out on June 28.) It will contain *More, S!CK, Que Mas Quieres,* and *Hell You Call a Dream,* all of which are out now.

I love The Warning and especially love this song. I agree with everything that you've said in the video and just wanted to throw in some of my thoughts on the vocals of this performance. Even though they are different genres and certainly didn't genders her approach to vocals makes me think of Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker. They both go from very clean to being able to add a ton of heat/grit to their vocals (vocal distortion) and can really get up there for high notes and they use the ability to do different vocal techniques at just the right times in the right segments of songs to add the most sonic/emotional impact. And their approach is similar. They can both do some amazing things vocally but they do not use them in a way that feels like showboating. The theme/story of the song not just allow but often require that they do these special vocal 'tricks' so while they are very impressive they are all the more impressive to me because these parts never come off as "look what I can do!". If Dani had started the first line of the song with all the heat and grit she would have had no where to go further into the song and would have reduced the impact of the vocals later on. That sweet vocal run/flourish leading into where she changes how she does "Hell you call a dream" with the backing vocals performing the lines the way she had in previous choruses and going bigger with a melody change is fire. It made what was an already great performance into a stellar performance that also added more import and weight to that point of the song in telling the story.

Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra... The Warning. They have nothing to do with other inflated and artificially marketed bands around the world. They are the youngest veteran artists in the world of rock. Metallica, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, Guns 'N' Roses and Muse are just some of the famous bands that have been very pleasantly surprised by TW's talented proposal, as well as all those fans who have sold out their concerts in the United States, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina... In addition to Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. No, I'm not talking about the rock festivals, where they were also very successful, but where they headlined and were the main attraction. Muse was so impressed with the young ladies who opened their concerts in Mexico, that they invited them to continue with them on their tour of Europe and even in their own country, the United Kingdom. It's redundant to say, but they were also very successful. Among TW's fans are musicians, music producers, sound engineers, roadies, vocal coaches, music critics, etc., from all over the world. In addition, and no less important, they are the first Latin American band to sign with a top-level international record label (UNIVERSAL MUSIC). And just to mention it superficially, what happened at the MTV VMAs was spectacular, as they impressed (impacted) the production staff and everyone who witnessed it very positively, the Director exclaimed at the end of "Evolve": "... Holly Shit, I'm a fan now!! ..." Other collaborators from the same production heard this and told it to the girls... and there is video evidence of it. . Around the world, budding rock groups are covering the band, including Asia and Australia. And all this is being done by Dany, Pau and Ale being very young and on their own merits, with discipline and professionalism. What they didn't do was to stagnate only in the field of rock in their own language, which is the "ceiling" in which other Spanish-speaking groups have always been limited... Or that they have failed. It's such a talented all-female band that they don't "exploit" their sexuality, they are educated, humble and very good human beings with a truly exemplary attitude. This year they will play as head-liners in several European countries where several have already sold out and have even had to change venues for others with greater capacity. And they will also perform at the "Wacken Open Air" 2024 in Germany, the most important metal festival and at the "Pol'and'Rock" festival in Poland, which is considered the biggest music festival in Europe and they will be there on the main stage.
