Dany performed a full acoustic version with just her sitting on stage during one or more of the three 10th anniversary concerts in October. It was very emotional and turned into a sing-a-long with the crowd. There are several fan shot cell-phone videos.

Dany is an incredible leader for The Warning. But is a band of sisters. Is not only a group of independent pros. They are family. And she leads and caresof it. As older sis she never left their little sisters behind in fact most of time... she took a step back to let her family go forward. Dany is life. I love this song.!

That lighting outro with the lone spotlight left on Dany until it fades out always gets me emotionally. Really good Dany showcase, as you said. The intro vocals show vulnerability. The guitar solo is one of her most melodic solos and perfectly fits the song. Terrific songwriting from a 15-year-old, and even more amazing considering it was supposedly done as a homework assignment the night before it was due. One of many highlights from this concert.

Hit it out of the park again. No one expected anything less. I don’t know if I’d say their songs are cynical, they’ve always attacked serious adult topics with a maturity that’s hard to comprehend for people so young . And they’re ultimately hopeful, not cynical, but it’s not always apparent at first glance. Their songs always leave room for interpretation and discussion. They’re world class songwriters and musicians all the way.

*When I'm Alone* *When I'm Alone* is Dany's song... Ale and Pau accompany with only their instruments... no harmonies or backing vocals... the blacked out solo beginning and ending with Dany alone in the spotlight is beautiful and quite fitting for this song and what it represents... Dany wrote this when the girls were at Berklee Music College (aka BMC) in Boston back in 2015 attending the summer session they offer(ed)... she got very homesick and also had a homework task to write a song... she hadn't any ideas, time was running out, and being homesick was devastating... she recorded a teary vlog about it... afterward she realized she could harness the emotions and pain she was feeling to write her song... i haven't heard what grade she got for it but many of us hope it was an A+... Dany has also stated several times that when she writes a song, it is from her heart and whatever emotions she is feeling at the time... so here we are enjoying this truly heartfelt song of loneliness and heartache... speaking of Berklee Music College, their concert at "Liceo" (basically Spanish for "learning place" or "high school") had multiple purposes... for one purpose, the story is that they needed something to submit to Berklee showing Ale's and Pau's chops and how well they played their instruments... this because both of them were less than 15 years old which is/was the age cut off for the summer program they were wanting to attend... so each of them chose a song to show off their talents... IIRC, those songs were "Hysteria" for Ale, "Everlong" for Pau, and "Crazy Train" for Dany... apparently BMC accepted their submissions because all three girls attended at the same time... while they were there they did vlogs to send to Ellen DeGeneres to keep her and her show up to date on how they were doing while at BMC... this because Ellen and Target gave each of the girls a check to help pay for them to attend the summer session at BMC... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

We all love a good "self-made" story. The Warning got to where they are through self sacrifice, perservereance, and hard work. They weren't industry fabricated. They stuck it to the man, when the man wanted to co-opt them and change them, "For all the wrong reasons." They continued to show up to festivals, when they could feel the other bands, and stage hands burning a hole through them because they were young girls, mere kids. They were not handed this on a silver platter. Dad had to sell stuff, including is beloved Harley, to get his babies what they needed to become the stars they are today! It really is a great story. And they shared their entire journey with us on social media. We have literally seen these kids grow in real time. They have not only provided us with quality awesome music, and stage entertainment, but they have provided us one of the best coming of age stories of all time!

Loved this? OK. It's time to hear Pau, the drummer, because she can do some very impressive singing WHILE PLAYING THE DRUMS! I'd recommend the song 23 (yeah, strange title, but where it comes from shows up in the second lyric). Then, in Narcisista, Pau hands the drumsticks to her friend and drum teacher to come up front and take over the stage. You are still only scratching the surface of this band. The problem is that their catalog is so deep, you could spene at least a couple months doing one reaction a day and there would be more songs for you to cover. Amazingly, these three girls from Monterrey represent the ideal of the ALL AMERICAN GIRL. Happy girls who love each other and their entire family and live righteous and clean lives. I'm 77 and I can go to my grave knowing that none of them will ever be arrested for drunk and disorderly or found dead in a hotel room with a needle hanging out of her arm. At the same time, this is no "out of the barrio" story. Their parents are professionals, mother a dentist and father a sound engineer apparently, so when Dany and Pau expressed an interest in learning to play rock, they got quality instruments to start with. And they've had parental support all the way. It's true: we love these girls to death because they deserve it. One last thought: Please react to 23 and discover how talented Pau is as a singer. She could front a band on her own, from behind the drum kit.

I don't know what you think, but this is a song right out of the old style of bands like The Beatles or even Badfinger (remember them?). Nobody writes songs like this anymore ... well ... maybe Dany does. Love it.

If The Warning already had traction, this would be a hit. A million teenage girls would be waving the flag. Regarding Dany's guitar chops, Enter Sandman is an example of her hidden skills. She switches from pick to octave fingerpicking a couple of times during the song by hiding the pick between her first and second fingers, done flawlessly in stealth mode by lifting her arm or running her hand through her hair. Unfortunately, the Teatro video doesn't really show this clearly. Keep up your reactions, please. Now, where are my damned glasses?

Being cynical is actually fairly accurate in todays world. They are questioning the world around them.. It this the best we can do? Why are we the way we are? Personally, this is what has made the best songs over time.. Questioning the status quo. Credence Clear Water Reveal and other. This is what great music does.. forces you to think about what really matters.. not just some catch lyric or BS theme. These ladies are old souls.. They are forcing us to thing about real issues and themes of our times while delivering them in great hard-hitting songs. This is why I believe they will be one of the most influential groups of all time… possibly at the stature of the Beatles, Stones, AC-DC, and others. They are not a lolly-pop, cookie cutter band.
