As someone in my late 50’s and very tired of the constant repetition of songs from the 70’s and 80’s, I feel The Warning is the band to watch. They’re reinvigorating rock and have gotten me very excited for the genre again.

And thanks for the Dany Cam. I can watch her play & sing forever. extremely talented singer/guitar player. Plus the sexiest woman on the planet.

I have read comments about how pretty Ale and Pau are but rarely (if ever) see a comment about Dany. Though that obviously isn't super import as its their music that matters it is still a shame because she's an absolute stunner with a smile that can light up a room.

This was at the Sound of Music Festival in Burlington, Ontario, Canada On June 16th, 2022. I was standing beside the guy who filmed this. The show was set to start at 8:15 but was about 15 minutes late due to technical difficulties. Best concert of my life.
@xray79082 жыл бұрын
@@randyruggles342 Thanks Randy and Allen for the replies. I was asking, "Who is this?" but I've googled them - sister act, The Warning. There's some talent in this family. I had 11th row dead center seats at Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon, stood at the edge of center stage for Traffic's John Barleycorn tour, and had a few other amazing concerts in the 70s, so I probably won't be having any new "best concert" stories, but having seen some great acts in my life, I'll say these ladies are very good, and have many years to reach for the stars. Thank goodness there are still real musicians making real music. (Of course, I remember the old folks thinking our music in the 70s was not real music. :) )
@MrMillett92 жыл бұрын
Proof that Rock is not dead. Just gotta know where to look. Rock band helped get the message to the younger generation. Usually people over 50 don't want to look at the acts from today and biased that new shows can never be as good as shows from 70s. This was a good show, not the best ever for me and there are acts out there today that may come close to your experiences. Don't give up looking. The world different, over-saturation and commercialization the norm. The 70s still had that mystique. I started concerts in early 80s so got to see the mystique. The 2000s and late 90s when the transition happened with the internet. Seeing Nirvana pre teen spirit another example of gems that happened out side 70s. I have seen some shows in last 10yrs that rival the 70s and 80s but far and few between and those bands will never be as big as the 70s acts you like. But are as good. Floyd is my fav as well so jealous of your experiences. Glad you liked this.
@xray79082 жыл бұрын
@@MrMillett9 You proved it right here my friend, nice post thanks. I don't think for a moment we had some monopoly on good music in the 70s, but I do have trouble sorting through to find the good music of today, that's why I'm still looking at posts like yours.
