Last song they played, before the encore. And I won't apologize for the shakiness - Dani said we better jump, so I jumped!!!

Dude, that was an amazing show, and I am so happy I got to see it before everything went to hell. And YES, she was AMAZING!! I legit thought the least of her abilities before that show, I'm ashamed to say. That night turned me right around though. The only reason I'd felt that way is cause I wasn't really paying attention, seeing her play 5 feet from me fixed that with a quickness! 🤦

Even Ale was more into this show than any other I've seen of The Warning.

I'm surprised how good the sound is for a 'phone video', despite your close proximity to the front. Good capture Josh!!😁 🤘😎🤘
@somejoshthing4 жыл бұрын
This phone captures the sound surprisingly well!! Honestly, I think it might sound better on these phone videos than it did IRL - it was insanely loud, wall of sound, the video provides better clarity of sound than that front row seat provided. Fantastic show though, glad I got out there before everything went down 😕

Awesome video! I can’t get over how Ale’s stage presence has grown so much. Seems like just yesterday she was the little girl holding the big bass guitar and now she’s in total command of it 😁 I can’t wait to see them live here in Chicago in April. Long live The Warning! 🙆🏻♂️🤘🏼🙌🏼🎸🥁🎸

Absolutely one of my top favorites from them! I see what you meant when you said that you could hear Ale's voice since you were that close! Speaking of her, I can't wait to hear what she sounds like with that new bass of hers. Bet that was one hell of a show that night and I can't wait to hear these ladies live! Just itching for a concert really frickin soon!

This was one of my favourites, maybe THE favourite, at the time, which is why I recorded it all the way through. In hindsight... it's rough. There were SO many songs I wished I'd recorded through... but at the same time, I didn't wanna watch it through a screen. Because yeah, it was one hell of a show. It's hard to compare it to the Dallas show, different styles, but... I mean, yeah, it was on par easy, if not beyond. It made all their live videos I'd seen released up to that point look like crap. Seriously.
@screamindemon713 жыл бұрын
@@somejoshthing Still wasn't a bad fan-shot video, though. Like Band Maid, I'd have to hear them live and in person to make an assessment on how they sound and for a three piece band, they sound great.

@@screamindemon71 I mean, it's difficult for me, because I wear a cochlear device on my left side. So, while it's miraculous as far as day to day hearing, it's not really meant for the sonic assault of a show. I have to tweak the settings as best I can, but it's never gonna be as good as natural hearing in that situation. My videos sound way clearer when I watch them, than the show did at the time. Is what it is 🤷♂️ Having said that, YES, they sounded freaking AMAZING!!! My only regret is not being more familiar with their catalogue before the show. I didn't really know XXICB past the title track - which means I have no distinct memory of them performing Survive that night 🤦♂️😭 - and I wasn't as familiar with even QOTMS as I am now. Narcisista? I'd heard of it. But I was so wiped out in that moment, I sat on the floor while they jammed it out with JDLC 😐 Made the same mistake with Band-Maid in LA a couple years ago, so the Dallas show was WAY better, just for knowing all the music. Not making that mistake ever again. Side note: I managed to get to the venue in Dallas without batteries for my cochlear device. And the fucking thing crapped out about 3/4 of the way through or something like that 😐 One more mistake never to make 😐
@screamindemon713 жыл бұрын
@@somejoshthing I managed to listen to their entire catalog over and over again so when I do manage to go I won't feel so left out. Also the same with GFM. I pretty much know their entire catalog as well lol. At the Dallas show, I was singing everything word for word in my head and had an excellent time there, even though it didn't look like it lol

@@screamindemon71 I MEANT to get to know XXICB before the show, just... never got to it 😕 Will never ever make that mistake again ever. I'd kill to have at least filmed the outro to Survive in NYC 🤦♂️
