My understanding is that Dany and Pau told Ale she needs to be the active one on stage because Pau is contrained to the drum kit and Dany needs to be at the microphone more often than not to sing lead. Obviously, Ale was more than prepared to step up and do her part to add to the stage presence of the band. Also, it is Ale who sings the high harmony parts of the chorus.

Major props for Ale’s bass tone and matching note for note a lot of Danys guitar work (She was 13 years of age in this performance). Pau as usual is doing delivering beautifully written drum parts with some tribal floor tom work. Lastly Dany fast becoming my favourite rhythm and lead switcher in the business while delivering great attitude. They’re killing it right now, and only going to get better 👌

Dany completely immerses herself in the character in just about every song in this show. It's amazing how sweet, humble and funny she is in real life. She IS the quintessential actress/musician when she gets on stage.😉 🤘😎🤘 *EDIT:* Fun fact - The scream around 12:16 on the back track, was actually Dany! They stuck her in the 'Warning Cave' with a mic and flipped the lights off and she gave her best and scared the hell out of everyone within range!🤣 ..but they had their scream for the track.😮

Yes, Ale uses Orange too, although, when they are doing gigs away from their hometown, she doesn't bring her Orange. I have seen her using either Ampeg or Blackstar. I cannot wait to hear the sound she gets with her new USA Custom 5-string Spector! And those that have seen them live say that Ale literally never stops moving the whole show. I am a drummer, and you are spot on about Pau (All 3 in fact) that she knows how and when to use dynamics and fills. I think this comes from their classical music and piano training. But, they have mastered this at a young age. And what to say about Dany? She is a monster frontwoman pure and simple. Her GREAT guitar playing is often overshadowed because she chooses to enhance the songs instead of trying to be shred-tastic. I have seen her shred, when given the opportunity, and she can shred with the best of them. Her influences are David Gilmour and Brian May, 'nuff said. She does a LOT of note bending in much of their music and is a great technical player. Not easy, given that she is also a great vocalist, and doing double duty. And every second she is not at the mic, she is interacting with the crowd. She is SO charismatic! People that have seen them live always comment on how she is so mesmerizing as a performer. All three are just born Rockstars. They possess what cannot be taught. Great review. Keep them coming!
@robertkrawitz82373 жыл бұрын
Agree about Dany. I don't think she gets enough credit for what she does relative to Pau and Ale. Dany pulls triple duty, with lead and rhythm guitar and primary vocal lead. She's shredding here more than typical, but she has a lot of less virtuosic solos (think The End) where it's about the music not "look what I can do!!!". That little solo's only about 10 seconds long, but it adds so much to the song. But I think that it's really a case of "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts". Are they each individually towering musicians? Yes. Would any one of them raise the level of most bands out there? Sure. But it's what they do _together_ with their skills that makes TW so extraordinary.

So I've been slowly going through your The Warning catalog - its an enjoyable trip so far. I'm fairly sure that somewhere in the comments is everything you need to know about the song, and the album. But there are a couple of things I would like to reiterate - Dany is entering full on murder mode hence her facial expressions. And the guitar solo - sweet, nearly angelic in the context of the song BUT that's the thrill of bloodlust, a feeling of euphoria. Also, in case you didn't notice (you never commented on it) - Dany's guitar chords and her vocals match during the chorus - a duet of sorts. Listen to it again when you have the time - that is pretty damn cool 😇 Pau is the conscience of the protagonist on her vocal parts - so not just harmony but she actually has a role in the story. Here, the conscience begins to break - its become to much hence the words Korosu that Pau sings. In Hunter, the conscience returns in whisper form (I'm coming back. There's no escape...) - song 12, the penultimate of both the album and chapter. Again - Lunario is in CDMX (Mexico City) so 7000ft+ above sea level. The actual concert is the full release of Queen of the Murder Scene (QotMS) concept album in 2018 (and the 1st performance of Chapter 4) so Ale is 13 here, Pau 15 and Dany 17 and many of the tracks had been written in 2017. I really really hope that you take the time to actually watch the songs from QotMS in order from start to finish to get the full understanding and impact of the story (and from little bits of info scattered around through various comments such as the final outro on the piano by Dany in Stalker is the protagonist singing to the corpse of the object of her desire) - and watch the change in Dany from Crimson Queen to Hunter, from 'in love' to becoming a 'murderous psycho'. You speak of persona - Dany fully embraces that change and its both beautiful and terrifying to see. Also, the full concert consists of 18 songs (13 from QotMS) and 5 others from 21st Century. And just maybe - give the album a score once you have the entire story. I would be interested in what you think of my favorite The Warning album in its entirety (for me, lyrics are more important than bass lines, guitar riffs and drum fills - these things are just icing on the cake) I like reactors who explain the technical aspects - and some of what you have mentioned, I already knew, while others add to my knowledge base. So thanks for that. As for your laughter in other vids - I get that. There is 3 types of laughter in reactions - 1) malicious intent (1 reactor in particular) which is just downright disrespectful; 2) joy - I myself get surprised by something and an involuntary laugh pops out, followed by a good 10-60 second (sometimes longer, like 10 minutes) smile ear to ear; 3) shared experience - such as what you explained I know from the number of reactions you have done, and how you gush over Little Gene, Pau and Dany, their expertise, their presence, their songwriting, their future, that you adore them so you will never get anything negative from me about that, nor from pretty much any TWA members (except those who believe that DPA can do no wrong, and everything should be a 10) Well mate - done about 25-30% of your reactions for The Warning and I've wanted to say a few things on other videos (Black Holes especially since Pau was singing, not Dany as you said), but I've held off at least until I get a feel for your style. One thing I hope you stop doing is lyric videos they(just don't convey the emotion from the live performance), and music videos, at least until you can see their live performance, or in the case of Automatic Sun (2024 - their latest release), has live concert footage with the studio recording. This is the 1st of your reactions I've clicked like (I've pretty much enjoyed all the ones I've seen so far btw but I'm a bit stingy with the Like button) on even though I really do not agree with your score Cheers from OZ

Dany does, as you say, convey great stuff facially. I like your comments on Pau’s drumming. I like to think of it as focus and discipline, playing what the song needs. She could throw all sorts of chops in that would impress people but also distract from the song. She actually removed a fill played in early versions of Dull Knives-it’s impressive that someone her age has that discipline in - as you said - knowing what NOT to play. She likes to keep a steady beat and then explode into a fill, it gives you that “hey, what was THAT” feeling. Sinister Smiles is the classic example.

Oh, there will be. Dany already said that, after listening to the master, the heavier songs in the album are their heaviest yet. Bemdeth’s magic. Can’t wait.

If I'm right, I think they laid off using pyro and lasers etc., because they were more interested in using the graphics on the screen behind them because they were showcasing their concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene. The concept album is a complete story with a beginning, middle, and end, three songs per chapter. In between each chapter they played one song from their previous album XXI Century Blood. Then the screen showed the Chapter, Chapter I, Chapter II, etc. and the graphics illustrated each song which told the story. So, yeah, I think the screen was the main feature that night.

I noticed something I don´t know the reason to. In one video of a song from QOTMS Dany had four black stripes on her left hand fingers, and here she has four black stripes on her neck, I wonder why!? Any way great reaction as usual I like your analyses. This is in my opinion one of the best songs by TW. Dany´s solo is masterful and so are her face expressions. I like watching Ale too, she is always moving around and when she shines she radiates happiness.

I watched a few of your The Warning reactions now and I gotta say, you're the best "reactor" I've seen on here. You're passionate, yet educational and constructive. You just got yourself a new subscriber.

Hi there. Was impressed with your reactions so immediately looked for your opinion regarding Nightwish. Not one. Please try Ghost Love Score at Wacken 2013 but be prepared for a mass of fans commenting. LOL

All your reactions and analysis are awesome. I'm now coming here for many more reaction videos! I wanted to suggest another The Warning live video where they opened for Stryper. The reason for this one is because Ale takes over the lead singing duties and is awesome! If you do watch this, pay close attention to how she starts the song. You will absolutely love her moves. :-) Fan shot so it's not the best quality but holy wow! If you thought you couldn't take your eyes off her before, you really can't on this one! Enjoy even if you don't react. 🤘😎 Rock on! It's called: The Warning - Hunter (Live) [ALE] kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZWkanuXqaeDmZo

Hi David, you are right about Ale's performance on stage... She's an incredible musician/performer same as Dany and Pau... I think that's a key element.. they perform.. not just go play and sing the songs... they are focused on make you feel the emotion, passion and feeling they want to share with you... Also.. there is a song, which has a great bass line and performance from Ale, Shattered Heart, I don't know if was already requested or not... but just in case here is the link .. Have a great day!!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5jEhqiJpLirhdk

I get what you're saying about (puke a little in mouth) Gene (pukes a little more) Simmons but he's such a friggin douche I can't stand that you compare innocent little Ale with that abomination. (Bends over and empties stomach) Kiss is the absolute worst rock n roll band (well maybe the Doors are a hair worse).Comparing little Alejandra to Robert Trujillo makes a little more sense, even Geezer Butler or Steve Harris. (I'm mostly kidding and I really do get what you are saying I'm just having a bit of fun but I still think kiss and the doors suck)
@THEDavidHeretic3 жыл бұрын
No worries, I'll be the first to admit that KISS songs aren't great....they're bubblegum butt rock. BUT....you cannot deny that their live shows especially back in the 70's set the bar for everyone else to follow....and only a few have succeeded in matching their live shows.
