Feeling your son. This band is constantly bringing tears to my eyes as well. No band ever did that before and I can't quite explain it. They just do! Nice job by Alita editing the video, especially the side-by-side shot showing Ale doing some standout vocals in HYCAD. Great reaction!

Yea Don's back! I'm glad this video got the shot of Ale singing on HYCAD, alot don't and she's sounds like Danys voice so people assume it's a backing. Also got the good shots of Dany working the volume knob off and on. It's not a big thing but it's the small things like that that make them soo clean sounding.

Hey there Don. Good to see you again. I was in the crowd for two of the three shows (MTY & CDMX) these clips are from. They were something else in the room where it happened. I cannot wait to see the official releases of these. As they were performed SICK was my favorite. I felt that HYCAD is missing just a little something. But holy cow, Dany's vocals. And Ale's bass does not come through on this recording, but is just POUNDED through you live. Both have some Sabbath meets Priest with a sprinkle of Zeppelin. But amazingly it sure still sounds like The Warning. These two are sure a cure for those folks who were worried they had gone POP with MORE. I was with some OG TWA members at each of the shows, and all we could do was 1) bang our heads, then 2) just shake our heads. Such good tracks.

Holy Crap! The Don-father is back! Yes, I wish I could hit the thumbs up repeatedly. Your son is very intuitive and articulate. Good co-host if and when he wants to. What I found to be interesting is that in the aftermovie they were discussing Sick and either Ale or Pau commented that either their performance or the song itself “wasn’t there yet” as it wasn’t completely clear as to what they were referencing. If that “wasn’t there yet” I’m curious to see the version they are happy with. Dany is supposedly belting to a F5 in HYCAD so there’s that… I watched all 3 high production shows, the first 2 on IG livestream and the penultimate show in CDMX on Strong Dad’s FB livestream. I hope they put out another Teatro Met quality video from those shows because each, especially Monterrey and CDMX, have something special in them. I can’t wait to watch your in depth breakdowns of these songs because no one does it better than you! Take care my friend.

It's clear they're perfectionists, constantly practicing and doing everything they can to improve on what is already greatness. Dany is the ultimate rock frontwoman and every time we hear her she's better than ever. I know that high belt in HYCAD took a lot of people by surprise. Not me. 🙂

Great to see you and your son again Don! I absolutely love Dany's riffs in Sick and Ale's bassline in HYCAD has a great tone. I'm ready for the studio versions of these songs to come out! I love Blue Thunder, or Ale's relatively new bass, cuz blue is my favorite color anyway. I think it's a backup bass that she's been using in all of the most recent shows to get used to it.

​@@don-musicDon, some have said it's a Spector NS-5XL in some color of blue. I believe it's an NS-5 in Hyper Blue. The 5XL has 4 knobs, the NS-5 has 3 as does Ale's. Looking at pics from Sweetwater etc the color, frets, etc appear to match up as well. I could be wrong, but it looks to me like it all matches up.

Don, you're gonna be SICK of me, sorry! Just watched Ale's Gear Masters episode again and did some other research as well. Ale's Inferno NS-5XL has 3 knobs, 1 for volume, 1 to blend the pickups, and 1 that is a stack knob that has 2 dials, 1 for bass and 1 for treble. My research indicates that the NS-5XLs that have 4 control knobs have separate bass and treble knobs and don't incorporate a stack knob that combines both. Sorry for the confusion, I know you know more about this than I do!

Plus the one at Pepsi Ceter was livestreamed. Those three shows were amazing. I hope Warning will release them on DVD (🤞🤞) or get the Teatro Metropolitan treatment. I love both new songs. i watched all three of their "2023 Big 3" concerts via live fan cam streams... A once in a generation phenomenon. I saw them live 8 weeks ago in Tijuana where they started with Disciple. Ale’s bass kicked me in the chest and knocked me over, then Pau beat me over the head with her drums and then Dany finished me off by slaying me with her guitar and vocals. Once you go down The Warning rabbit hole there's no way out, like Black Holes (which is one of my favorite songs of theirs).

Don! You're back! I was just thinking about you two days ago! I really missed you and your reactions and analysis. Great to see your son with you! "Sick" and "HYCAD" are two great new bangers. However, from comments I've seen since their debut in Mexico, it seems that most fans are really gravitating much more toward "HYCAD". In the Pepsi Center short aftermovie, there's a very brief off-camera discussion during soundcheck between who I believe sounds like Carlos and Pau where Carlos says: '"Sick" sounds okay.", and Pau responds with something like: "It's not quite there yet." So MAYBE they've tweaked it some since then, and it MAY be a bit different on the final album cut. Who knows? We'll obviously find out when it's released. Anyway . . . WELCOME BACK, Sir! 🤘

I loved your reaction when Dany hit those high belt notes in HYCAD. I did the same thing the first time I heard it. Ale's bass line in HYCAD is sick (no pun intended). It's so low and thick with some distortion, it almost sounds like its growling.

Ale got this bass in the spring, and had the led fret lights installed in London. She’s been playing it pretty consistently all fall. She mentioned that it was a tiny bit lighter than her ‘Ale’s Inferno’ Spector. This one is the exact same custom bass, but with slightly different wood.

She’s played the blue Spector exclusively throughout the Mexican leg of the tour. I’m sure Ale’s Inferno was close by if needed plus she has the natural finish Spector she used in More.

Sweet name for a Channel coming from another Don ]:) Here's a song by a band that will be on their 1st worldwide tour 2024 they won the metal hammer golden god award for best new band in 2018 and this past year they were #15 on the top 50 albums of 2023 voted by fans on Metal Hammer magazine. These gals are all prodigies and masters of their instruments. Like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest we have the 2 guitar attack (M&M) Midori and Miyako(Also a classically trained Pianist) with pounding drums of Haruna (Little Big Engine) Their new bassist Fami is also amazing and Asami who used to sing R&B has quickly become comparibly like Bruce Dickinson the female version with her also operatic style. Be prepared to have your mind blown by these gals in greek goddess dresses and heels. Midori also has placed #2 in Body Building Competitions and even though all their songs are in english you may want to pull up lyrics because of the accent as many have said they couldn't understand. Good to see you back!! The Alita multicam videos are great. Hope there is pro audio out there somewhere. The camera to screen lag drives me crazy. And it messes with the 3,2,1, SICK! countdown. And the mirrored shots of the girls.....really???? But I can enjoy anything that has DPA in it!!

Between bands like The Warning, Lovebites,Nightwish,Epica, and Nemophila the rest of the world is keeping rock and metal alive for us ]:) all from South Korea Rolling Quartz and also an Instrumental Band (3 piece) out of Japan Asterism- If you love Violins with metal check out East of Eden and Unlucky Morpheus If you end up loving Lovebites which I believe you will Don's always have great taste in Music ]:) Check out a few other all female Japanese Rock and Metal Bands like Band Maid, Nemophila, Mary's Blood, Aldious, Bridear, Gacharic Spin, Fates Gear, Hanabe, Trident, and Hades. You'll be amazed how many of them have taken western Metal and Rock and infused it with a more modern flavor with also Japanese touch of perfection added. Case in point Lovebites Swan Song with Chopin Intro (Miyako on Piano), Asterism 155, Unlucky Morpheus Cadaver Revadac, East of eden Evolve, Nemophila Rise, Mary's Blood Starlight, Gacharic Spin Mindset, Aldious We Are, and Band Maid Warning. Hey Don (and Son), not related to this video but I just noticed. Dany's first main guitar (after the Strato as a kid) was the Les Paul from Enter Sandman, and that remained until the 2017 TEDx, but I just noticed that in the 2016 TEDx and in the "The Pretender" cover she is using one with different pickups, a missing knob and a different headstock, then the original returns for 2017. Did you notice? Do you know the history of the morphing Les Paul?
